「女はなぜ悪い男にばかり引っかかるのか？」という問いをとてもうまく扱った作品、ジョン・ミリントン・シングの戯曲『西の国のプレイボーイ』（The Playboy of the Western World）を取り上げたいと思います。日本ではあまりなじみがないかもしれませんが、１９０７年にあイルランドのダブリンで初演された戯曲で、英語圏では有名作です。

えらいシュールなブラックコメディなので、今はこれを舞台で上演すると爆笑が起こります……が、本作がダブリンのアビー座で初演された時は演劇史上に残る暴動が発生しました。第3幕でクリスティが女性の「下着」（’shifts’, 第３幕５３２行目）の話をするところで観客が猥褻だと騒ぎ始めたと言います。

誰しも自分の中で理想化した何かがあるものだ。
アイドルやカルト・フィギュアなどというのは人物におけるその典型で、なればこそそうした虚業が成り立つ。
技能や学術の方面では権威視・権威化ということが起きやすい。
また自らを権威に擬そうとあれこれ演出する向きもある。
しかし、たいがいの有名人（セレブ）は私生活を暴かれるため、現代日本ではむしろ行き過ぎた理想化（贔屓の引き倒し）が 昔ほどは起きにくいと考えられる。
上掲記事で紹介されている理想化の対象は「地域」や「太古の王朝」「時代」。
こういうのはとかく政治に利用されやすい。
おれにもそうした時代・場所・人物がないわけじゃないが、徒に理想化するのではなく、その実像についてできるだけ過不足のない理解をするよう努めている。

今日は「橋下羽鳥」の番組収録だった。
わしは社会的責任を取らない安倍昭恵のことが大嫌いなので、ネットの生放送で言ってる批判の100分の1くらい言ってしまったかもしれない。
名誉棄損になるとスタジオが色めき立ったが、どうぞそのまま放送してほしい。
訴えてきたら徹底的に戦う覚悟がある。
しかし地上波では自然に自主規制してるのだが、あれしきの批判でなんで驚くのかさっぱり分からない。
平井理央さんも「一私人」という見方に異議を唱えていたが、女性もそう見るかと思って意を強くした。
月曜日放送だからぜひ見てくれ。
橋下徹はわしと考えが違うのだが、どうしても嫌いになれない。
基本的に公明正大で、悪いことはしない人間のような気がする。
ただ、権力者の側にいるから、注意しておかなければならない。

前大阪市長の橋下徹氏が９日、ツイッターを更新し、８日に放送されたテレビ朝日系「橋下×羽鳥の番組」で共演した漫画家の小林よしのり氏について「やっぱり小林よしのりはバカだった」と痛烈に批判した。

番組では、政治家の暴言、失言についてその裏側を徹底検証。現役政治家や政治評論家などが出演し議論したが、その中に小林氏もゲストとして登場。橋下氏は政治家時代の自身の失言、発言について、米兵による性犯罪が頻発していることに、風俗を活用すればいいなどと発言したことに「それは撤回したが、慰安婦問題はあれは絶対正しい、今堂々言える」などとコメント。それに対して小林氏は「やっぱ危険だよね。口からでまかせでさあ」と話し、橋下氏は「どこがでまかせなんですか」と言い合うシーンもあった。

橋下羽鳥の番組を見たら、ものすごい編集の荒業が発揮されていて、橋下のヤバい意見が全てカットされ、それに突っ込むわしの意見もすべてカットされていた。
例えば、橋下は久間大臣の「原爆を落とされたのは仕方がない」という意見に同調し、「日本の政治家は原爆投下の米国の罪を延々と言い募るつもりか？外交上、仕方がないと思わなければならないのだ」と主張した。
それに対してわしは、原爆投下が虐殺だという感覚は、今の米国人はまだ戦争体験者がいるから認められないだろうが、次の若い世代になれば、原爆投下が人類の罪だったと認めるようになるはずだと主張した。
少なくとも日本人の方から、原爆投下は止むを得ないと考えてはならない。
それは国際法の進化に背を向けることになると、わしは主張した。
以上、ごっそりカットされていた。
さらに橋下は「戦争を起こした国の政治家は今もずっと反省しなければならない」と超自虐史観を述べた。
わしは驚いて、そんな馬鹿なことがあるかと反対した。
東条英機以下、東京裁判で裁かれて絞首刑になり、アジアの各地で1600人以上（これはわしの間違い。実際は1061人）の兵士が無茶な裁判で処刑されていったのだ。
なんで今の政治家や、将来の政治家まで延々と反省し続けなければならないのだと、わしは言った。
さらに戦争についての責任は、「戦争を起こした責任なのか、戦時国際法違反を冒した罪なのか、敗戦した責任なのか」という分類がある。
一概に戦争の責任を問うことなどできないということをわしは説明した。
これもカットされていた。
あの場にいた三浦瑠麗氏や他の政治家たちも聞いていたはずだ。
そしてわしはあまりに橋下の言うことがデタラメなので、「この人間が国政に復帰したら危ない」と本人の前で述べた。
これには三浦瑠麗氏が「私もそれは小林さんの言う通りだと思う」と援護していた。
わしは橋下羽鳥の番組に出ると、ヒヤヒヤする。
あまりに無茶苦茶な意見を橋下が言うからだ。
橋下の意見はやけに政治家寄りで、マスコミや評論家を馬鹿にする。
さらに安倍政権寄りで、その政策を庇うようなことばかり言う。
それを聞いているとムカムカしてくる。
橋下に会ったことがないときよりも、会ってからの方が印象が悪くなった。
番組の前日にディレクターがわしの意見を電話で詳細に聞いて、それをパソコンで文章化し、橋下に読ませているのも変だと思う。
そのような事前検閲的なことを他の出演者にも行っているのか？わしだけか？
事前に知らされた情報では、橋下が「女は子供を産む機械」という意見まで庇っていたことを知り、わしはそこは徹底的に批判するからと伝えたのだが、収録当日には、政治家の失言から外されていた。
わしと真っ向対立になるのを避けているようだ。

タレントの泰葉（５６）が、精神科医の香山リカ氏（５６）に対し「売名便乗ヤブ医者女」と怒りをあらわに批判した。
泰葉は１７日にブログを更新。元夫で落語家の春風亭小朝に虐待を受けていたと訴え続けている自身の状態について香山氏が精神科医の立場からコメントした記事を引用し、「これあり？見てもない患者よわたし メディア報道だけで診察下す？」と疑問を呈した。
さらに泰葉は「医者のモラルに反するよ それに自分の職業使って小銭稼いじゃダメだよ！立場使ってわたしに便乗して欲しくない」と痛烈に批判した。
