万籟死して声なし　しんしんと降る雪何をもたらすや

　急速に発達した低気圧の影響で、東北や関東では３０日未明から広い範囲で雪に見舞われた。気象庁によると、午前９時現在で、都心で初積雪となる２センチ、宇都宮で２センチの雪が積もるなど、関東平野部でも積雪を記録した。また、都内全域を含めて各地で大雪注意報が発令されており、気象庁は交通への注意を呼びかけている。
　都心では朝から一部で強い雪となり、東京駅周辺などでは、横殴りの雪を受け、寒そうに襟を立てながら出勤を急ぐ会社員らの姿がみられた。

　厚生労働省は３０日、２０１５年度の公的年金の受取額を発表した。厚生年金を受け取る夫婦二人のモデル世帯では、２２万１５０７円となり、１４年度より２４４１円増える。年金の伸びを賃金や物価の伸びより抑える「マクロ経済スライド」を初めて実施するため、年金額の伸びを１４年度比０・９％増にとどめる。年金制度の持続性を高める狙いがある。

　埼玉県川口市の路上で、都内から来た少年５人に「お前らはもぐりだ」などと因縁を付けて「もぐり狩り」と称して車ではねるなどした疑いで、１７歳の少年ら７人が逮捕されました。
　川口市に住む１７歳の少年ら７人は去年１０月、市内の路上で、音楽を鳴らしながらバイクに乗っていた５人の少年に殴る蹴るの暴行を加えた後、軽自動車ではね、バイク２台を奪った疑いが持たれています。１人は顔の骨を折る重傷です。警察によりますと、少年らは、都内から来ていた５人に「川口は音楽禁止だ。お前らはもぐりだ」などと因縁を付け、もぐり狩りと称して暴行に及んだということです。事件後、少年らは逃走していましたが、５人が顔や服装などを覚えていたことから逮捕に至りました。少年らは「もぐり狩りをしたが、殺すつもりはなかった」と容疑を一部否認しています。

　福岡県警久留米署は２８日、介護士の男性（４４）にたばこの火を押し付けるなど暴行し重傷を負わせたとして、傷害の疑いで、男性が勤務していた介護付き有料老人ホーム「▲▲▲久留米」（福岡県久留米市）の経営者、●●●●容疑者（３８）＝久留米市、従業員、○○○○容疑者（２５）＝佐賀県神埼市＝を逮捕した。
　久留米署によると、●●容疑者は「たばこの火は故意に押し付けていない」と、容疑を一部否認している。
　逮捕容疑は、昨年７月中旬～９月上旬、施設などで日常的に男性を殴ったり蹴ったりするなどの暴行を繰り返した疑い。
　久留米署によると、男性はやけどの化膿（かのう）が原因で左腕を切断したほか、衰弱し自分で歩けない状態となった。

The second of two solo singles by Jerry Ganey that were produced by Righteous Brother, Bill Medley. The two young vocalists had been in the studio a few years prior when in 1964, Medley produced two singles for the vocal group, the Clouds in which Ganey was the lead vocalist. Both of which were recorded at Gold Star Studios and are worth seeking out. For this M~G~M single, the session was held at Hollywood’s United Recording in February 1967. Medley’s association with’Wall of Sound’ producer Phil Spector, makes itself quite evident upon the explosive intro of this now ridiculously pricey and very collectible disc. The Willie Cobbs composition of’You Don’t Love Me’ with an arrangement by Barry Rillera has blue-eyed soul vocalist Jerry Ganey along with impeccable backing vocals by the Blossoms delivering the musical goods with absolutely on-fire performances. This record deserves to be played loud in a huge room filled with energetic folks cutting a rug on the dance floor. Jerry Ganey continued to perform and record as a soloist and with other groups into the 1980’s. He passed away suddenly in August 2015 from cancer.
