日本の警察の鑑識技術を学ぶためにインドネシアの警察官２人が警視庁で研修を行い、その様子が報道陣に公開された。
警視庁では今月４日からインドネシア国家警察の警察官２人を受け入れて、鑑識技術の研修を行っている。２１日に公開されたのは、指紋照合の研修で、拡大した指紋の写真２枚を見比べ、一致する特徴点にペンで印を付けていく。
警視庁鑑識課は１４年前から、インドネシアに職員を派遣し、技術の指導をしていて、３年前からは日本での研修も行っている。視察したインドネシア国家警察鑑識課のフディ・スルヤント課長は、「インドネシアでもテロ事件などが多く発生しているため、日本のような鑑識技術を導入したい」と話している。

インドネシア法務・人権省は１９日、同国のイスラム強硬派組織「ヒズブアッタハリル・インドネシア」を非合法化したと明らかにした。
担当者は記者会見で「活動が（インドネシアの統一などを定めた国是の建国５原則）『パンチャシラ』に反している」と述べた。
