　「半導体からレタスへ」――。工場が驚きの変化を遂げた。富士通は、半導体工場を転用した閉鎖型大規模植物工場の「会津若松Akisaiやさい工場」で栽培した「低カリウムレタス」を、「キレイヤサイ」シリーズの第１弾として２０１４年５月７日に発売した。
　通常のリーフレタスと比べて、カリウムの成分が１００グラムあたり１００ミリグラム以下と低く、野菜に含まれるカリウムが気になる人、たとえばカリウムの摂取制限のある透析患者、腎臓病を患っている人でも、生で食べられるのが特徴だ。秋田県立大学の特許を応用して量産化に成功した。
　また、硝酸態窒素を１００グラムあたり７５ミリグラム前後と低くしたことで、苦味を抑え、甘さを引き出した。それにより、苦味が苦手な子どもにも食べやすい野菜となった。
　さらに、クリーンルームで栽培しているため、１０度以下の冷蔵保存で２週間鮮度を保つことができるのもポイント。農薬も使っていない。
　価格は２株９０グラムで４５０～５００円程度と、ふつうのレタスに比べると割高ではあるが、健康によい野菜として、「安心・安全に食べられる」魅力がある。

富士通が野菜を作る！? ――半導体のクリーンルームを転用した植物工場を設立
　富士通グループは２０１３年７月５日、福島県会津若松市において半導体工場のクリーンルームを転用し、大規模植物工場の実証事業を開始する。植物工場は2000m2の実装面積を持ち、低カリウム野菜を栽培する。低カリウム野菜を栽培する植物工場としては「国内最大級」（富士通）のものだという。

12일 오전 충남 아산테크노밸리 내 신축중인 오피스텔이 한쪽으로 기울며 붕괴 우려속에 당시 바로 옆 건물에서 내부 공사가 진행돼 자칫 대형사고가 우려됐다.
이곳에서 공사를 진행했던 관계자들은 이 건물이 한 쪽으로 기우는 순간 ‘쿵’ 하는 소리가 비행기 소음으로 착각했다고 한다.
지난 일요일부터 내려던 비가 그친 이날 오전 8시7분께 충남 아산시 둔포면 석곡리 일원 아산테크노밸리 내에 신축 중인 7층 오피스텔 건물 1층 남쪽 측면이 20°가량 기울어지며 붕괴 위험에 처했다.

예정 준공일을 보름여 앞둔 이 건물은 7층 높이로 골조가 완료된 상태에서 내부 마감 공사를 앞두고 이날 오전 갑자기 남쪽으로 20도가량 기울었다.
사고 당시 건물 안에는 사람이 없어서 인명피해는 없는 것으로 확인됐다.

韓国で今度は７階建てビルが突然傾く　今月末の完成目前に
　韓国中西部、忠清南道牙山（チュンチョンナムドアサン）で１２日午前８時ごろ、建設中の７階建てのビルが突然傾く事故が発生した。警察や消防は、倒壊する可能性があるとみて、周辺の道路を封鎖して対応に当たっている。複数の韓国メディアが報じた。
　牙山消防署によると、ビルは１階の柱が折れて約２０度～３０度傾いた状態という。昨年８月に着工し、今月末の完成を目指していた。幸い人命の被害はないという。

The familiar waltz “Melody Of Love” achieved its greatest mainstream success in late 1954/early 1955 via Billy Vaughn’s million-selling single and the various other instrumental and vocal cover versions that immediately followed. It had been composed in 1903 by Hans Engleman （nee Engelmann）, and first recorded by Wayne in 1940 as a straight instrumental.
More well-remembered, though, is this later version spotlighting King’s radio announcer Franklyn MacCormack in a reading of Mary Carolyn Davies’ ode “Why I Love You,” which he recites over the piece. Up until his death in 1971, MacCormack continued to do sentimental readings as part of his late-nite WGN Chicago radio program.

This happy tune dates back to the early songwriting years of Irving Berlin and his 1914 score for the Broadway musical “Watch Your Step,” which starred famed dancing couple Vernon and Irene Castle. Would you believe that more than a century ago when Irving Berlin wrote this clever tune, people were already bemoaning the current raucous state of the American popular song and longing for a return to the’good old days’ when music was music? That’s the premise of “Simple Melody,” performed here by two top vocal figures from the early years of pre-electrical recording. And unlike the familiar Bing & Gary Crosby hit of 1950, this version also includes Berlin’s original verses that help clarify the conflict: Billy wants to hear the current hot ragtime tunes instead of that’longhair’ stuff, while Elsie prefers the old favorites that her mother used to sing.

この群発地震の何が気がかりなのか？　すでにネット上などで騒がれているように、それは３年前の２０１１年２月２７日にもまったく同じ震源域で一日２８回の群発地震が起き、その１２日後、東日本大震災が発生しているからだ。

作家の山口敏太郎が贈る不思議な情報サイトの 「山口敏太郎」さんによると本日１２日に東京で大地震が発生するとのこと。理由としては新宿で見つけた奇妙な貼り紙「５月１２日に首都圏直下の大地震」というものだ。
とはいえ、山口さんはこの張り紙は根拠の無いデマであり現代の技術では「地震を予知することは不可能」としている。そのため安易に信じないでいただきたいとのこと。

２０１４年５月頃から東京の都心で、「５月１２日に関東地方を巨大地震が襲う」というような張り紙が相次いで発見されました。発見された場所は東京の新宿や秋葉原等で、この貼り紙にはノストラダムスの予言に関して独自の分析結果等が書いてあります。この張り紙を貼ったのは「民間　五月地震対策本部　代表　シーレン」と名乗る謎の方で、詳しい理由などは全く分かっていません。ネット上ではちょっとした騒動になっており、「気持ち悪い」「たちの悪いイタズラ」というようなコメントが飛び交っています。

５月５日、千代田区で震度５弱を記録したが、これといって被害はなかった。
そして張り紙が予言した今日１２日。
結局 地震は起きなかった。

誰ぞにわざわざ予言してもらわなくても、今この瞬間にでも首都直下型地震が起きる可能性が高いことは国家機関も認めてるところで、もはや堂々と人前に顔を出し日時を断言する以外に予言者の出る幕はない。

鹿児島県桜島が先日また大噴火したそうだ。

韓国中部・忠清南道（South Chungcheong Province）牙山（Asan）市で１８日午前、完成を目前に大きく傾き「韓国版ピサの斜塔」とやゆされていた７階建てビルが、撤去作業中に突然倒壊した。
 このビルは倒壊の恐れが出ていたため、同日から本格的な撤去作業に着手したところだった。けが人などは出ていないという。
 ビルが傾いた原因は、材料の量を減らすなど、基礎工事段階での手抜きにあるとみられている。
