Tributes to Lord Attenborough poured in from a broad range of society including the world of sport, politics, the media and acting.
Prime Minister David Cameron issued a statement calling Attenborough “one of the greats of cinema” after it was announced that the legendary actor and director had died on Sunday.

さて、故人のお墓や仏壇にそなえるものとして欠かせないのが線香ですが、ちょっと気づかないうちにお線香の進化がハンパないことになっていた！ なんと今どきはミルキーやハッカ油、キャットフードの黒缶など、本物さながらのパッケージをしたお線香が登場してるるのですーーーっ!!
しかも、ミルキーやハッカ油にいたっては火をつけるとちゃんと香りまで再現されるという……これは私たちのお線香の概念がちょっと変えられちゃうかも!?

気密性の高いマンションでも、室内でお香（アロマ）を焚いてたりするとドアの外まで香ってくる。
あまり風変わりな匂いだと通報されかねないので、気をつけたほうがいい。

米大学の研究者が、カラー剤などの薬品を使わずに髪色を変える技術を発表しました。
集束イオンビームで髪の表面層にナノ構造（回折格子）を刻むことで、髪を「染める」のではなく任意波長の光のみを反射するようにし、あらゆる色や複雑なパターンに変化させます（いわゆる構造色）。薬剤を使わないため頭皮などに悪影響を与えることなく、また原理的に色が抜けたり移ることもありません。
