意気投合 合縁奇縁 一家団欒 以心伝心 愛別離苦

半年くらいかけて、自分が関わった作品以外のコレクションを処分しようと思い、新たに通販サイトを立ち上げました。
少しずつ価値ある商品を追加していきます。
歳相応の身辺整理の一環 ということでね。

ビッグサイトで“骨董ジャンボリー”なるイベントが開催中との情報を聞き、これを機に骨董について学んでみようということになりました。
 会場に着いて、まず最初に目に飛び込んできたのがこちらのブロンズ像。
 なんか力強さのような“何か”を感じないわけではないのですが、その価格が6万8000円なのには驚きました。
 毎週『なんでも鑑定団』を見ているシャクライですが、この価格は読めなかったです。ちなみにその横で売られていた、こちらの“翡翠の香炉”は1万2000円らしいです。

骨董品に値がついてそれなりに市場がある以上は、買い手が投資目的で買うことを阻止できません。ただ業界が現時の適正取引価格を踏み外さなければ一応は問題ない。
マズいのは骨董そのものに興味のない人たちがなだれ込んで「ブーム」になってしまうこと。そうなるとどうしても値が上がるし、骨董を愛する人たちが迷惑します。
骨董相場でもそうですが、値上がりは急に、値下がりはごくゆっくりで、ブームが過ぎても高値止まりだったりする。そういう後遺症が骨董世界にも結構あるんですよ。

ミハル・ボカニム監督『故郷よ』
愛も家族も引き裂いた放射能禍―“現在進行形”のチェルノブイリ
 プリピャチは「ゾーン」という立ち入り制限区域にあり、別名“死の区域”と呼ばれている。この町を意識するようになったのは、オーストリアのニコラス・ゲイハルター監督『プリピャチ』(99年)を見てからだ。チェルノブイリから3キロ離れた、原発作業員ら5万人が住んでいた町は、事故(86年4月26日)の3日後、強制退去によって廃虚と化した。が、故郷を捨てきれずに舞い戻って暮らしている老夫婦に映画は焦点をあてていた。その後、彼らはどうなったろう。
 その同じ町を舞台にした劇映画『故郷よ』を見た。監督はイスラエルのミハル・ボカニムという女牲で、ドラマは原発事故の前日からはじまる。プリピャチは川の名前で、川ではボートに乗った恋人たちが戯れ、岸では原発技師の父と息子がリンゴの苗木を植えている。のどかな春の日、誰が明日の惨事を予測できたろうか。
 翌日は恋人たちの結婚式で、人々が川岸のパーティーで歌い踊っている。川には大量の魚の死骸が浮いているが気付く者はいない。突然、新郎に「森林火災が起きた」と呼び出しがかかる。次の日、花嫁のアーニャは病院に駆けつけるが、「彼は人間原子炉になっている。近づくな」と警告される。
 10年後、アーニャは故郷を捨てきれず、チェルノブイリの観光ツアーのガイドとして働いている。彼女には2人の恋人がいるが、どっちつかずの関係を続けている。彼女が防護服の観光客を案内する中、プリピャチの光景が映し出される。動かない大きな観覧車がポツンと立って、荒廃の象徴のようだ。
 惨事の前は「愛がすべて」と言っていた彼女や、家族を大切にしていた技師は、事故で家族と引き裂かれ、元に戻れないままさまよっている。ここでは、もう「愛」とか「家族」のドラマは成り立たなくなった。

阪神淡路大震災以降、日本は地震活動期に入った。これからぽつりぽつりと大地震、大津波、火山噴火などが起きるだろう。ふたたび原発事故が起きる可能性は否定できない。

福島第1原発から放出されている放射性物質はかなり減ったらしいがゼロではない。それより事故当時の被曝の影響が出始めてることが何より怖ろしいではないか。

原発に被害がなくとも、コンビナートなどに保管されている核燃料物質を含む廃触媒(劣化ウラン)が爆発や火災で空中高く舞い上がるかもしれない。以前に書いたがそうなれば東京はアウトだ。待ったなしの住民総退去、即時遷都。

 政府と損害保険各社は、地震保険の新規契約の保険料を2014年7月をメドに、平均で15%程度値上げする見通しだ。
 巨大地震発生のリスクを保険料に織り込むためだ。値上げは1980年以来2回目。ただ、甚大な被害が想定される太平洋の南海トラフ地震の影響は含んでおらず、15年以降に再値上げを検討する。相次ぐ値上げは、地震保険の加入にブレーキをかける懸念もある。
 地震保険は、保険金を政府と民間の損保会社が分担して支払う。東日本大震災では、保険金の支払いが1兆2000億円を超えた。将来の震災発生リスクが高まったことを踏まえ、損保各社でつくる「損害保険料率算出機構」は、これを保険料に織り込む作業に着手した。

 ネガティブモデル栗原類(18)が6日、都内で行われた「ケンタッキーチキンライス」発売イベントに出席した。AKB48峯岸みなみの恋愛スキャンダルを受け、栗原が占いで「2013年は火遊びする」と的中させていたことが話題になり発言が注目された。
 タロット占いに凝っている栗原は、1月20日に放送されたフジテレビ系「笑っていいとも! 増刊号」で峯岸を占い、悪魔のカードを引くと「火遊びを表すんです。今月中に火遊びする」「夜のトラブル」などと予言していた。
 見事的中させた形だが、報道陣からタロット占いの質問を受けると、全て受け流した。

1933年のフランス映画『外人部隊』でカードを使い未来を占うシーンがあったと記憶してるが、タロットだったかかトランプだったか、かなり昔に見た映画で判然としない。

 竹島(島根県隠岐の島町、韓国名・独島)の領有権確立を目指し島根県が条例で定めた「竹島の日」の記念式典が22日、松江市殿町の島根県民会館で開かれた。島尻安伊子内閣府政務官が政府関係者として初めて出席し、竹島問題の解決に全力を尽くす決意を示した。

 弁護士法人港国際グループは2月20日、FC2ブログ・FC2動画などを運営する米FC2.Inc社(以下、FC2)に対し、ブログ投稿者の情報開示を求める仮処分命令が下ったと発表した。FC2側はすでに当該ブログの情報開示に応じている。
 FC2は会社がラスベガスにあり、日本国内での管轄が認められないため、これまでは国内から裁判を起こすことができなかった。しかし、2012年の民事訴訟法改正で「日本で事業を展開しながら支店を有していない場合、国際管轄を認める」との規定が追加されており、今回はこの規定が適用された「知るかぎりではおそらく初の事例」(弁護士法人港国際グループ 最所弁護士)とのこと。
 上記のような理由(国内から裁判を起こしにくい)から、違法アップロードなどの温床となりやすく、一部には「無法地帯」と呼ぶ声もあったFC2だが、裁判を起こす手順が確立された以上、今後は「FC2だからセーフ」とは行かなくなりそうだ。

たとえ結婚できても、生涯添い遂げる人たちとそうでない人たちの違いがあります。
特殊な事情は別として、「性格の不一致」を理由とする離婚は、軽率に結婚した両名の過失責任ですね。
結婚は今も昔も苦労でしかない。だから「おれと所帯持って苦労してみないか?」なんてプロポーズも昔はありました。
1970年代以降の日本人は自己愛、ミーイズムに目覚めてしまい、自意識が強くなった。やりたいことがたくさんあって、やりたくないことはやらなくなった。良い面、悪い面、表裏一体ですから、これは仕方ないことです。もう元には戻れない。よしんば人心が戻ったとしても世界の状況が全く違いますから、同じパターンで高度経済成長を再現することは不可能です。

Recorded at New York City’s, Mirasound Studios in March 1969, this B-side to a beautifully constructed power balled entitled,’Saying Goodbyes’, is the third of five known singles issued by unknown vocalist, Buddy Arden.
‘You’re The First One’ is a quasi-Spector arranged track which is quite a nice pop production that although it did not transpire, if given the proper opportunity and promotion it very well could have been one tune of a double sided hit along with also being a musical bargain for the record buying public.
The passing of over 50 years since this was recorded has not made it any easier to find out just who Buddy Arden was as there are no photos to be found. Possessing an impressive tenor voice that deserved to have a wider range of exposure, at least with the handful of recordings that he made all of those years ago, he has managed to leave a footnote of significance in the history of American east coast productions of the 1960’s.

Melody Patterson – You’re The One(1965/09)

The one and only single issued by then sixteen year old actress, Melody Patterson who was just starting her newly acquired role as’Wrangler Jane’ in the ABC-TV series,’F Troop’. It’s interesting that the underage Patterson managed to snag the acting gig with a fake birth certificate but was so professional and well received by the viewers that her age snafu was worked around and accommodated. Also interesting is that not only did the TV series debut in September 1965 but her Warner Bros. single,’You’re The One’ b/w’Meadowgreen’ did as well. In the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, the television arm of Warner Bos. Pictures was known for not wasting any time in getting their hot new TV actors and actresses behind a microphone in a recording studio. Connie Stevens was one of their most successful and curiously, while Melody’s version of’You’re The One’ with its sprinkling of Phil Spector musical embellishments, was sung in a somewhat lower register, her vocal delivery on the flipside,’Meadowgreen’ was sung with the same breathy, wispy style that helped Miss Stevens sell quite a few records. Composed by Petula Clark and Tony Hatch,’You’re The One’ was the plug side on Melody Patterson’s lone single. Clark had included her original version on her’I Know A Place’ LP and in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania a group that would be credited as the Vogues recorded their version initially for Blue Star Records in July 1965 which was changed to Co & Ce Records one month later. The male quartet would achieve a world wide hit and the biggest selling version of the song leaving Miss Patterson and others in the dust.

In October 2020, Jana O’Hara discovered among her mothers belongings, this 8-inch Gold Star Studios acetate featuring the vocals of her mother, Charlotte O’Hara, along with the Blossoms on a tune entiled,’I Don’t Wanna Be The One’. Another acetate with an earlier 1963 version was also found among the stash. A fixture at the studio in the early 1960’s, Charlotte not only offered her vocal services for demo recordings and session work along with solo and group recordings she was also an accomplished composer. Under the direction of Al Hazan, she had her first solo single on the Ava label and recorded several tracks with the producer as potential follow-up releases which never materialized and were shelved. This recording which was one of those tracks had seen release in 1962 by the Cannon Sisters on Valiant Records. It was another Gold Star track arranged by the great Perry Botkin, Jr. in true L.A. Girl Pop fashion and is highly recommended. As for Charlotte, she is most remembered for her work after her tenure with Al Hazan when in 1965, she along with Sherlie Matthews and Clydie King became Bonnie & The Treasures. It was under the production of Jerry Riopelle and arranger, Nick De Caro that the group would issue a disc on Phil Spector’s Philles Records subsidiary label, Phi-Dan, the magnificent’Wall of Sound’ track,’Home Of The Brave’.

(Unreleased MGM recording) Here we have a perfect example of when record exec’s and producers had faith in a particular song that it was given three different arrangements at three separate recording sessions before the final version was chosen for release. Composed by Brill Building songwriters, Doc Pomus & Mort Shuman, the tune’No One’ was given to successful MGM Records vocalist, Connie Francis who first recorded the tune on October 16, 1959 followed by a second version which is presented here that was recorded in Hollywood on January 25, 1960. The third and final English version was recorded on December 27, 1960 and ultimately chosen for release as the flipside to’Where The Boys Are’ in January 1961. To these ears, it is version #2 which is the winner, however there is substantial distortion with the lead vocal track that may have been a factor in its remaining in the can for three decades before seeing the light of day in a multi compact disc set. Version #1 came out of hibernation in the 1980’s as part of a rare and unreleased Connie Francis compilation.

 国内の飼育頭数が減少しているラッコの繁殖を狙って、大阪市港区の水族館「海遊館」で12日、同館のメス2頭と、新潟市の水族館から借りたオスを同居させる「お見合い」があった。他館のオスとの「お見合い」は2005年以来の約7年ぶりで、今回が2回目。

 東日本大震災からもうすぐ2年。被災地では地道な復興作業が続いている。この大災害をもたらした巨大地震は約1100年前の平安時代前期に起きた「貞観地震」の再来とみられている。そして国史『日本三代実録』によれば、貞観地震の9年後に関東で大地震が起き、多くの建物が崩壊、かなりの犠牲者が出た。さらにその9年後、西日本の太平洋沖を震源域とする地震で大津波が沿岸を襲った。
安政江戸地震の約半年後に出版された『安政見聞誌』(国立公文書館所蔵)に掲載されている絵。地震直後、江戸市中の各所から火の手が上がっている様子が描かれている
 今回の巨大地震が貞観地震の再来としても、今後、同じように事態が推移するかどうかはわからない。ただ首都圏の地下では東日本大震災前から大地震を起こすエネルギーが蓄積しつつあることが地殻変動の観測からわかっている。また震災後、東日本全域の地下の応力のバランスが変わり、関東では全体的には地下のひずみが増す方向に働いたと推定されている。
 過去を振り返ると首都圏ではマグニチュード(M)8級の大地震がくり返し起きている。M8級がひとたび起きると地震が少ない静穏期に入り、それからM7級の地震がいくつか起きる活動期を経て次のM8級が発生する。これが1つの地震活動のサイクルだ。直近のM8級は1923年の大正関東地震(関東大震災)で、その1つ前のM8級は1703年の元禄地震だ。
 ではさらに時代をさかのぼるとどうなるのか?

 FC2にこの件について問い合わせたところ、すでに代理人弁護士を通じて仮処分命令発令を確認し、発信者情報の開示を行ったという。また、
「当社としては、従前から、警察および裁判所など公的機関からの正式な照会には極力協力をさせていただいておりました。今回も従前同様の対応をさせていただきました」
と、公的機関には積極的に協力していることを強調、11年度は裁判所からの照会3件に応じたことを明かした。
 なお最所弁護士はブログで同社に対し、
「会社自体は、ネバダ州にありますが、おそらくペーパーカンパニーです。実質的な運営主体が日本国内にあることは間違いないと思いますが、その運営実態は依然不明なままです」
と指摘しているが、FC2では、
「当社は、ネバダ州内に、オフィスを賃借し、従業員を雇用しております。また、アメリカ内にデータセンターを設置しサービスを運営しており、アメリカの法律に従い、アメリカで納税もしております」
として強く否定し、「法的措置も含めて検討をしている」という。
