The company was fortunate to have access to some of the top-notch session musicians and vocalists in Nashville. Some of those involved in the recordings included Ray Stevens, Sam Moore （later of Sam And Dave）, Sandy Posey and Bobby Russell. Dick Martin of Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In fame is also rumored to have done novelty record covers for the company.
The company shuttered it’s doors in 1969 after growning competition from Pickwick and other budget labels.
Its singles havesurprisingly become highly collectable in recent years, with some commanding fairly high prices on the collector market.
It also had a sublabel called Country and Western Hits, which released cover versions of the country hits the day.
This 1963 cover version of’Wonderful Summer’ which Robin Ward enjoyed hit status with is backed by a cover version of’Be True To Your School’ by the Roamers. The original version was of course, made famouse by the Beach Boys.
The majority of the records issued on Hit were credited to fictitious groups and vocalists.

大阪府は、９月５日の午前１１時に「大阪８８０万人訓練」を実施する。同時刻になると、防災行政無線等を流すほか、「訓練緊急地震速報メール」を一斉送信。緊急地震速報と同じく、携帯電話会社の「災害・避難情報」配信サービスを利用して行う。いざという時にきちんと行動できるようにする狙いだ。
訓練緊急地震速報メールは、マナーモードになっていても電源を切っていない限り強制的に鳴る仕組み（反応しない機種もあり）。大阪府内にある携帯電話が８８０万台だとすると、約３５０万台が一斉に鳴ると推定している。そのため「授業中や会議中、式典中、映画館、図書館など、携帯電話が鳴ってはいけない場合はあらかじめ電源を切っておいてください。」と公式サイト等で注意している。

08：00に発生した地震により、各地で火災が拡大しているため、渋谷区全域に避難勧告が出されました。落ち着いて避難場所へ避難してください。
【訓練】
渋谷区では、災害等の緊急情報を、配信時に区内にいる対応携帯電話利用者へ配信します。
渋谷区危機管理対策部（渋谷区危機管理対策部）
という『災害・避難情報』の緊急速報が入った。
『緊急地震速報』ではないので、アラーム音がややおとなしく、また寝てしまった。
文面最後の、発信部署を（ ）付きでもう一度繰り返してるのは、どういう意味だろうと、あとで読みながら考えた。
ちなみに私の避難場所は目の前に青山学院大学だ。
警報というとサイレンの前は鐘の音だった。
青山学院もミッション系大学なので礼拝堂があるが、鐘やカリオンがあるのは、相模原キャンパスのほうらしい。
