東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の敷地内の貯蔵タンクにたまった汚染水を、２０１４年度中に全て浄化するという計画が達成困難であることが東電の試算で明らかになった。
試算によると、約３５万トンの汚染水の浄化には今年１０月以降に１日当たり１９６０トン処理する必要があるが、浄化装置「ＡＬＰＳ（アルプス）」の能力が追いつかない。東電の広瀬直己社長が昨年９月、安倍首相に約束した「１４年度中に浄化」の実現は難しくなってきた。

耳当てのない毛皮の帽子は「コサック帽」といいます。文字通り、騎馬民族であるコサックの帽子として広まりました。貴族的な雰囲気があり、「銀河鉄道９９９」のヒロイン・メーテルがかぶっている帽子といえばイメージしやすいでしょう。

オークションにかけられたのはナポレオンが愛用したとされるビーバーの毛皮で作られた帽子で、左右の角がとがった独特の形をしていて、ナポレオンを描いた絵画などでも同じ形の帽子を着用する様子が描かれています。
１９日、パリ郊外でオークションにかけられた結果、およそ１９０万ユーロ、日本円にして３億１５００万円余りで落札されました。
帽子の前面には円形の飾りがありますが、ナポレオン自身が地中海のエルバ島を脱出して再び権力についた１８１５年に、この飾りを付けたとされています。
ナポレオンは同様の帽子をおよそ１２０個所有していたとされ、現存するのは２０個ほどで多くは個人所有ということです。
オークション会社によりますと、２０１４年に別のナポレオンの帽子が１８８万ユーロで落札されていますが、今回はこの時を上回り過去、最も高い落札価格となったということです。＜ナポレオンの帽子 ３億１５００万円余りで落札 | NHKニュース より一部引用＞
