『日本の夜と霧』（にほんのよるときり）は、1960年制作の日本映画。大島渚監督。

２０１３年１２月１１日、今年のノーベル化学賞受賞者である米国の理論化学者マイケル・レビット氏はこのほど取材に応じ、「中国は旅行に適しており、大気汚染が原因の煙霧をそれほど心配する必要はない」との見方を示した。広州日報が伝えた。
レビット氏は、北京市や上海市を訪問したことがあるだけでなく、汽車に乗ってチベット自治区ラサ市や青海省西寧市などにも行ったことがあるといい、「中国北方の食べ物が好き。一番好きなのは四川料理で、辛いのも問題ない。山東省青島市の青島ビールも気に入っている」と語った。
また、「中国が好き。中国は旅行の価値がある国。それに、中国人はとても親切」と絶賛した。多くの人が中国の大気汚染を懸念していることに関して、レビット氏は、「中国の生態環境にとても注目している。大気汚染が原因のスモッグは深刻で、１９６０年代のロンドンと同じ。でも、あの時代のロンドンより、中国のほうがまし」との見方を示した。
