好みの問題もあろうがヨーロッパでは受け容れられやすいのではないか。
おれはというと肉なら牛より豚が好きでね。分厚い牛のステーキなんぞは全然有難くないのだ。
話違って、変な歌『メアジー・ドーツ』について。
こんな歌詞が続く。

韻を踏んだ語呂合わせの童謡なのだが、どうやら何かを食べるということがテーマであるらしい。
６０年代のヒットソングライターチームであったアンダース＆ポンシアによるグループ、ジ・イノセンスのカマストラ２枚目（1967/02）のシングルとして知られているが、詞・曲ともに彼らの作ではなく、また過去にもヒットし、多くの大物たちによって競作されていた楽曲だった。
メロディがチャーミングなので、今でも子どもたちに人気だそうだ。
現代のアメリカ人はハッキリ言ってろくなものを食ってない。つまりヤバい食品ばかりを「食わされてる」ってこと。怪しげな飼料や危険な薬剤で短期間に成長し太り出荷されていく食肉牛にさながらである。
しかしそれでは却って納税畜としても生産畜・兵役畜としても寿命が短くなるんじゃないかと心配してしまうが、株主たちのためには短期の利益を出すしかないのかもしれない。
では、アメリカ合衆国という国家の株主は誰々なのか？
