福知山市動物園（同市猪崎）は４日、６月に生まれたレッサーパンダの双子のオスの名を、「光（みつ）」（兄）と「秀（ひで）」（弟）としたと発表した。
名前の公募には４７４通の応募があり、福知山ゆかりの戦国武将・明智光秀にちなむ名が選ばれた。同じ名の応募は４通あった。
二本松俊邦園長（７１）は「２匹はいずれ他の動物園に行く可能性が高い。どこに行っても、生まれたのが福知山と分かるようにとの願いを込めた」と話す。

生活の党の小沢一郎代表は１２日、山本太郎氏と率いる「生活の党と山本太郎となかまたち」の党名を「自由党」に変更し、総務省に届け出た。１９６９年に自民党で初当選以来、与野党で浮沈を繰り返してきた政治人生だが、これで所属する政党名は１０個目。かつて率いた党名に回帰することで、支持回復をめざす。
小沢氏は記者会見で「自由党の時が一番、政治的理念、政策も非常にハッキリとして、多い時に６００万票を超える支持を頂いた」と説明。かつての自由党は二階俊博・自民党幹事長や小池百合子・東京都知事が所属。自民党と連立後、政権から離脱し、その後民主党と合流した歴史がある。今後は民進、共産、社民各党との野党共闘を維持しつつ、「保守の自民党以外の浮動票を取らないと政権は取れない」と強調した。

「たまプラーザ」が「多摩プラザ」だったらどうだったろう？ ちょい郊外で知名度も半端なのに、おしゃれっぽく無理してる感はやはり漂うか。
田舎の駅前にあるファッションビルとかマンションとかが名前だけはおしゃれだったりする気恥ずかしさは全国共通かもしれないね。
「テレコムセンター駅」はバスの停留所のネーミング感覚で、むしろ親切だと思う。
もともと埋立地でどう付けようと根拠が無いのだから、かまわんだろ。
