酒飲んで騒ぐのはいいですけど、飲みつけない人に無理強いするのは危険ですから絶対やめてくださいね。

去年末、東京・八王子市の居酒屋チェーン店が未成年者２７人に酒を提供し、当時１９歳の少年が一気飲みをして死亡していたことがわかった。店は、今月から４か月間の営業停止処分を受けている。

カナダのドラッグストアが、１１月の第１週から店内でクリスマスソングを流したところ、苦情が殺到したため、これを取り止めたと、６日のＣＮＮニュースが報じている。日本でも１１月から各地でクリスマスソングを流しているせいか、この話題はネット掲示板でも注目されているようだ。
記事によると、苦情を受けたのは、カナダ国内で約１２００店を展開する「ショッパーズ・ドラッグマート」。１１月から各店舗でクリスマスソングを流していたが、２日に「店内のクリスマスソングに苦情が寄せられたので当面の間中止します」とフェイスブックに掲載したという。http://getnews.jp/archives/271258
カナダ最大のドラッグストアチェーン「ショッパーズ・ドラッグマート」が１１月１日から店内でクリスマスソングを流し始めたところ、「まだ早いだろ！」と苦情が殺到し中止となった。
「ショッパーズ・ドラッグマート」はカナダ国内で約１２００店を展開するチェーン店。
１１月に入ってすぐに、各店舗でクリスマス音楽を流していたが、翌日２日には「苦情が寄せられたので中止します」という告知をフェイスブックに掲載した。
「クリスマスが毎年どんどん早く消費者に押し付けられるようになっている」
「どこへ行ってもクリスマスソングがエンドレスに流れていてうんざりする」
「これから２カ月も続くなんて正気の沙汰じゃない！」など、約６０００件ものコメントが投稿されているという。
中には、店で働く店員からも「気が狂いそうになる」などの投稿が寄せられた。
個人的な感覚からいえば、12月に入ってからなら流しても良いとは思うが、
どうやらクリスマスソングを流すのは「感謝祭（サンクスギビングデー）」が終わってからと、「暗黙の了解」的に決まっているという意見もあるようだ。

iOS 端末に Google Maps が戻った同じ日に、サンタクロースの Google Maps 離れが明らかになった。
米軍とカナダ軍が共同運用する北米航空宇宙防衛司令部（NORAD）による恒例のサンタクロース追跡で、2007年から採用してきた Google Maps に代えて Microsoft の Bing Maps が採用されたのだ。のみならず、今年のサンタ追跡ツールは Microsoft の Windows Azure 上に構築されているという。
NORADの”チーム”ページにはスポンサー企業リストのトップにMicrosoftが表示されており、Googleは消えている。
