大阪府泉佐野市の「泉佐野優人会病院」で７日、寝たきりの女性入院患者（５９）の点滴チューブが切断され、府警捜査１課が傷害容疑で捜査を始めたことが１８日、捜査関係者への取材で分かった。女性の命に別条はないという。
捜査関係者や同病院によると、７日午後７時ごろ、２階病室で、女性の点滴チューブから血が流れ出ているのを病院職員が見つけた。女性は左鎖骨の静脈に点滴を受けていたが、二股になったチューブのうち１本に鋭利な刃物で切断された跡があった。約２時間半前に看護師が異常がないことを確認していたという。
女性は２００９年８月から入院し、重度の脳障害で意識不明の状態が続いていた。
病室はナースステーションの向かい側にある４人部屋で、他の患者２人も寝たきりの状態。面会は午後８時まで可能だが、この日は同室の患者への面会はなかったといい、同課は何者かが病室に侵入し、故意にチューブを切断したとみて調べている。

十数年前、済生会中央病院へ入院した時、隣のスパゲティ状態の老人が深夜、自分につながってるチューブを抜きまくってたことがあった。
オレがすぐナースステーションに連絡しなかったら、その人 死んでたかも。
生死に関わるチューブなら作為の痕跡がありありの「切断」ではなく、抜け落ちた風に装うのが犯人にとってベターな選択であったはず。それなのに敢えて切ったのは一瞬のうちに犯行を終え立ち去るためだったのか、それとも深い恨みがあったからか。
二輪大手のヤマハ発動機は１８日、超小型の車の生産を２０１３年後半から始めると発表した。
同社は他のメーカーから小型車生産を受託したことはあるが、独自に生産、販売するのは初めてだ。
複数の車種を開発中で、具体的な仕様は来夏発表する。

Following the Sandy Hook shooting tragedy, the Westboro Baptist Church is unsurprisingly stirring up controversy by doing one of the things they do best: being assholes and picketing funerals. Your friendly, faceless, neighborhood hacking group Anonymous has responded by doing what they do best: publishing private information, in this case, about the members of the Westboro Baptist Church.
Anonymous has now published a list of Westboro Baptist Church members along with plenty of personal information such as home addresses, emails, and phone numbers. On the more legal end of the activism spectrum, the group is also pushing a petition to legally recognize the Westboro Baptist Church as a hate group. And what do you know, it’s already gotten the required number of signatures.

After the Westboro Baptist Church posted on Twitter its intention to picket the Newtown, Conn., site where 26 shooting victims died, including 20 children, hackers retaliated.
The reason for the protest? Reportedly because Connecticut has legalized same-sex marriage.
Shirley Phelps-Roper, a spokesperson for the Topeka, Kan., Westboro church and daughter of church founder Fred Phelps, put on Twitter, “Westboro will picket Sandy Hook Elementary School to sing praise to God for the glory of his work in executing his judgment.”
Over the weekend, the hacktivist group Anonymous posted what it said was church members’ personal information. In a video posted on Vimeo, the hacker group accused the organization of “breeding hatred” and adding, “We will destroy you. We are coming.”

コネティカット州小学校乱射事件犠牲者の追悼式に招かれもしないのに「ウェストボロ・バプティスト教会（ＷＢＣ）」がピケ張りにいくと騒ぎだし、「そんな真似はさせるか！」とハッカー集団がサイトやツイッターを乗っ取り、ＷＢＣ構成員の実名・住所・電話番号・メールアドレスをネットに晒す一幕がありました。
ＷＢＣはバプティスト教会とは一切関係のない煽動集団で、人に不幸があると決まって現れ、「～さんの死を神に感謝します」とプラカードを掲げるため、全米の鼻つまみ者となっています。
元は反同性愛がメインでしたが最近は主義主張が多様化し、のべつまくなし目立つところに出て言論ハラスメントしているような状態です。

一見してその反社会性が誰にでも分かるようなカルトはむしろ対応しやすいでしょう。
次の段階として、そうした体質を世間の目から隠し、組織を拡大し、資金を集め、権力構造に浸潤し始めると、これはなかなか手ごわい相手となります。

Ｑ．尊厳死をスムーズに決断するには？Ａ．公正証書が医師の判断にも影響する
「２年間の闘病の末、担当医から人工呼吸器を装着して延命を図るかと問われましてね」
実父の臨終の間際を吐露するのは鹿児島市の山下悦司さん（４７）＝仮名。その時点で父親の意識はすでになく、呼びかけに反応することもなかった。闘病でやせ細った姿にはかつての父親の威厳はなく、山下さんの脳裏には尊厳死の文字が浮かんだという。
「ところが、東京から駆けつけた妹が少しでも長く一緒にいてあげたいと主張しましてね」
妹さんの思いも大事にしたかったが、山下さん夫婦も長い看病に疲れ切っていたのに加え、医療費も気になった。結局、妹さんを説得して延命は行わず、翌日父親は亡くなった。それから２カ月たったが、山下さんは決断が正しかったのかと自問自答の毎日という。
「非常に難しい判断ですよね。本人から正常な判断ができるうちに、延命は望まないことを表明してもらっていたらよかったんです」
こう語るのは八重洲公証役場公証人の井内顕策氏。ただし、口頭での意思表示に納得しない家族もいる。ここに延命措置は望まないという本人の意思を公証人が聴取して作成した公正証書があると、トラブルは避けられるとアドバイスする。
