今から１１年前の２００２年、ひとりのアマチュア天文学者が宇宙に漂う不思議な物体を発見した。その物体は地球周回軌道上に存在しており、「な、なんと！ 月以外に地球の周りを回る物体があったなんて……！」と研究者たちはビックリ仰天したという。

「尻のまち」発信目指す塩尻ＪＣ 「ヒップリン」５点認定
塩尻産赤ワインを使った「ヒップリン」を見せる植本さん（左）塩尻市を「尻のまち」として発信しようと、塩尻青年会議所が尻（ヒップ）の形をしたプリン「ヒップリン」を公募し、１２日、同市の市民交流センターえんぱーくで審査した。市内外の４人・グループから計６点の応募があった。応募作品はカスタードクリームで尻の形を作ったり、特産のブドウを使ったりと工夫してあり、今回認定した品は商品化につながる可能性があるという。
同会議所は、塩尻の新しい土産品として「ヒップリン」を発案したいと考えた。「尻」の形で塩尻産の食材を使うことなどが条件。この日はそれらを満たすかどうかを審査し、試食した。
