Jimmy Beaumont, the lead voice of the Pittsburgh based vocal group, the Skyliners, is in absolute top vocal form on this now highly sought after and prized piece of vinyl from June 1966. Produced by Mike Lewis and Stuart Weiner, the session was held at Mirasound Studios in New York City in May 1966. ‘You Got Too Much Going For You’ is an intoxicating, soulful anthem with a powerful, drum laden, Artie Butler arranged backing track that is somewhat in the style of a Phil Spector production and the Motown Sound. Between December 1958 and June 1963, the Skyliners would record for five different labels but are most notably known for their charting singles on Calico Record;’Since I Don’t Have You’,’This I Swear’,’It Happened Today’ and’Pennies From Heaven’. In 1961, Jimmy began to also record as a solo act and then in 1963, the original Skyliners disbanded. The groups manger, Joe Rock, assembled a new line up of singers for three singles issued on Jubilee in 1965 and 1966. In 1974, Jimmy Beaumont and three of the four other original Skyliners would regroup for one single on Capitol Records. Jimmy continued to perform and record with several different other Skyliners group members until his passing at the age of 76 on October 7, 2017.

After having spent a nearly three year stint as the lead vocalist of the girl group, the Chantels, nineteen year old Arlene Smith embarked on a solo career with this Big Top Records single to be her debut outing. Composed by Carole King and Gerry Goffin and entitled,’He Knows I Love Him Too Much’, it was recorded at Bell Sound Studios in New York City in March 1961. Produced by then twenty-one year old Phil Spector who slathered the track with swirling strings, kettle drums and dramatic echo the marvelously atmospheric would unfortunately not achieve hit status. At that same point in time, Spector was just embarking on his relationship with Lester Sill out in Los Angeles where he would record a string of records by the Paris Sisters that were issued on the Sill and Lee Hazlewood label, Gregmark Records.’He Knows I Love Him Too Much’ would resurface a few months later in January 1962 by the Paris Sisters who would take the record to #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. ２０１５年３月から福島県の中間貯蔵施設に福島原発事故で発生した汚染土袋が運び込まれていますが、その様子が凄まじい事になっています。４月１６日に海外メディアが中間貯蔵施設の空撮映像を公開しました。
その映像には、東京ドームを遥かに超える規模の敷地を埋め尽くす程の汚染土袋が綺麗に映っています。驚くべきは映像に収まり切らない程の量であることで、正に驚愕するしか無い映像だと言えるでしょう。

　中国国有の電気機器メーカー、保定天威集団有限公司は２１日、２０１４年の巨額損失が痛手となり、８５５０万元（約１６億２０００万円）の社債の利払いを履行できなかったと発表した。中国国有企業が国内市場で債務不履行（デフォルト）となるのはこれが初めて。

２２日午後６時ごろ、杉並区高円寺南の青梅街道で男性が倒れているのが見つかり、病院に運ばれましたが、およそ１時間半後に死亡しました。
警視庁が免許証などを調べたところ、死亡したのは俳優で杉並区に住む萩原流行さん（６２）、本名、萩原光男さんと分かりました。
警視庁によりますと、萩原さんのそばには乗っていたとみられるオートバイが倒れていたということで、警視庁は萩原さんがオートバイに乗っていて転倒したとみて、詳しい状況を調べています。
現場は東京メトロ丸ノ内線の東高円寺駅から西に４００メートルほどのところです。
萩原流行さんのこれまで
萩原流行さんは昭和２８年に東京都で生まれ、高校卒業後、劇団に入団し、１９歳で初舞台を踏みました。
その後フリーとなり、昭和５７年に劇団・つかこうへい事務所に入ったことをきっかけに、深作欣二監督の映画「蒲田行進曲」に出演して味のある脇役で注目を集めました。

　俳優の萩原流行（ながれ）さん（６２）が東京都杉並区でバイクを運転中に転倒し、後続車にはねられ死亡した事故で、警視庁は２３日、バイクの前で車線変更した車が同庁の護送車だったと明らかにした。同庁は、車線変更と転倒の関連を調べている。
　交通捜査課によると、萩原さんは２２日午後６時５分ごろ、片側３車線の中央車線を走っていて転倒。右車線に投げ出され、東京都練馬区の男性会社役員（５９）の乗用車にはねられた。
　同課の説明では、萩原さんが転倒する直前に高井戸署の男性警部補（５５）が運転する護送車が左車線から中央に車線変更していた。護送車の右前輪付近には衝突したような跡があり、転倒後のバイクとぶつかったとみられる。警部補は「駐車していた車を避けるため、車の後ろで一時停止してから車線変更した」と話しているという。

　事故とうつ病との関係は不明だが、先月のバイク事故以外にも、1昨年1月には乗用車を運転中に交差点で５０代の女性が乗っていた自転車に接触し、女性の左足に軽傷を負わせている。
　内科医でコメンテーターのおおたわ史絵は｢今回の場合は分かりませんが、うつ状態になると細かなミスが増えるという特徴的な症状があります。治療による薬剤を飲んでいる場合は、自分では自覚できないが、ふらつくことかが多くなります｣と指摘する。
