八方美人は損するだけ！ 鍛えるべきは “断る力 “です!!
仕事でもプライベートでも周囲の人の気持ちを気にしすぎて、嫌なことや気の進まないことをはっきり断れない……という人がいます。「嫌われたくないから」という気持ちが働くのかもしれませんが、これはむしろ自分自身を追いこんでしまう悪しき習慣なのです。http://googirl.jp/lifestyle/1510kotowaru112/
おれもどちらかというと断るのが苦手だ。
相手が営業マンならただちに峻拒できるのだが、世話になってる人とかだと極めて断りにくい。
「義理には篤いがエロには弱い好色漢」であるからして（笑）
ちなみに『八方美人』の原義はパーフェクトな美人であって、誰にでもいい顔する人は副次的に派生した意味なのだそうだ。

Benny, Teddy, Gene, Lionel, and vocalist Tilton are joined on Side 2 by trumpeter Ziggy Elman with a fralich-style chorus previewing his later “Fralich In Swing” （”And The Angels Sing”）.

「領土の代わりに、死んだロバの耳をくれてやる」。１０年前の対独戦勝６０周年記念式典後の記者会見で、ロシアのプーチン大統領の口から出た、罵（ののし）りの言葉である。バルト三国のラトビアが、ロシア領となっている隣接地域を「固有の領土」として、返還要求していることについて、質問が出たときだった。当時時事通信のモスクワ支局長として、現場を取材していた名越健郎（けんろう）さんは、カッとしたときにプーチン氏が発する、独特のスラングだという。
発言はこう続く。「固有の領土と言うのなら、クリミア半島（ウクライナ）はどうなる。ロシアの固有の領土を返してくれ」（『独裁者プーチン』文春新書）。その言葉通り、ロシアは昨年３月、クリミアを一方的に併合した。

The early 1920’s Rudolph Friml melody “Chanson” (aka “Chansonette”), was given new lyrics and a new life as “The Donkey Serenade” when Allan Jones sang it in MGM’s 1937 movie update of Friml’s 1912 operetta “The Firefly.” Jones’ ‘Red Seal’ recording of “The Donkey Serenade” remained in-print for decades and sold well over a million copies for Victor/RCA Victor.

フジテレビで『さんまのまんま』放送時間が頻繁に変わる理由
「系列局である関西テレビ制作なので、キー局であるフジテレビはお金を払って、番組を購入しています。その場合、ゴールデンタイム（１９～２２時）で放送するなら高くなりますし、深夜なら安く購入できるのです。全体的な自局の動きを見て、調整弁として放送時間帯を決めているので、頻繁に変わるのでしょう」（フジテレビ関係者）
とはいえ、これだけ長期にわたって人気のある番組だけに、今後、ゴールデンタイムに放送される可能性はあるのか。
「それは、まずないと思います。現在、民放のゴールデンタイムで３０分番組はほとんどありません。３０分だと視聴率が取りにくいんですよ。

『夫婦善哉』（朝日放送）
『アップダウンクイズ』（毎日放送）
は印象深い。
宝塚や吉本新喜劇の中継もやってて、たまたま見ることもあった。
