日経平均株価が２万円を超えて日本経済は好調かと思いきや、経済メディアでは「セルインメイ（５月に売れ）」という相場格言が話題になっている。
「週刊現代」（講談社／５月９日、１６日号）の記事『「５月暴落説」「ギリシャ・デフォルト説」をどう見るか』では、５月相場に要注意だという。５月１２日にＩＭＦ（国際通貨基金）への返済期限があるギリシャのデフォルトリスクで「５月１１日が危ない」という声を紹介している。
また、「日経平均が瞬間的には１万７０００円位にまで下振れする可能性もある」と識者は指摘している。
同記事の中で広木隆マネックス証券チーフ・ストラテジストは「過去２０年間の日経平均の月別パターンを見ると、５月は１．５％のマイナスで、８月、１０月と並んで値崩れを起こしやすい月だということが統計上明らかになっている」と語る。
また、記憶に新しいところでは２０１３年５月２３日、前夜のＦＲＢ（連邦準備制度理事会）のバーナンキ議長（当時）の量的緩和の縮小示唆発言を受けて、日経平均株価が１日で１０００円以上も下落した「５月の暴落」もあった。

欧米系の格付け会社フィッチは２７日、日本国債を格下げしたが、その衝撃が広がっている。「Ａプラス」から一段階下の「Ａ」となり、中国（Ａプラス）や韓国（ＡＡマイナス）より“格下”になったのだ。

中国の習近平国家主席の姉が経営していた投資会社が、中国の大手不動産・娯楽グループ「大連万達集団（ワンダ・グループ）」の株式を大量に保有していたという米紙ニューヨーク・タイムズの報道が波紋を広げそうだ。反腐敗運動を名目に次々と政敵を失脚させてきた習指導部だが、自身の親族が莫大（ばくだい）な資産を保有していたと指摘されたことで、政権の信頼性が揺らぐのは確実だ。
同グループは、中国各地で政府から使用権を購入した土地に商業施設を建設して業績を拡大、株価も上昇を続けてきた。親会社の万達集団は２０１２年に米第２位の映画館チェーンを買収したことでも話題となり、王健林董事長（会長）は「中国一の富豪」と呼ばれたこともある。
同紙によると、習氏の姉が経営していた投資会社は０９年に２８６０万ドル（約３４億円）分を購入し、習氏が国家主席に就任した１３年に知人に引き渡された。株は現在２億４０００万ドル（約２８６億円）にまで急騰しているというが、当時の売買額は不明という。
同紙は「中国の指導者が便宜を図った証拠はない」としているが、胡錦濤前国家主席の息子がトップを務めていた会社関連のファンドも総額４億２３００万ドル分、温家宝前首相の息子の会社が運営する投資会社も５億２６００万ドル分の株式をそれぞれ保有するなど、旧新指導部の関係者が軒並み巨額資産を保有していたことになる。
習近平自身やその家族にいくら収入があっていくら税金を納めてるかなんて十数億人いたって誰も知らないだろうし、もしかして本人すら把握してないかも。
去年からずっと問題になっていたサイバーエージェントやそのグループ会社のステルスマーケティング紛いの取引事案が、そろそろ盛大に火を噴いている状態なので取り上げたいと思います。
ステルスマーケティング（通称「ステマ」、またの名をアンダーカバーマーケティング）とは何でしょうか。
ネット上で問題となるステルスマーケティングは、口コミやバイラルなどと称して第三者で中立的な利用者を装い、さもその話題や商品、ビジネスが好意的な反応があるかのようにネット上で情報を流通させることによって、ありもしない好評を築き上げて消費者を欺いて購買に結びつける方法です。

各テレビ・ラジオ局は、自社関連事業の宣伝を、たとえば報道番組の中でさえ行いますね。自社が関連してることを隠して、さも一般的な話題として取り上げたりすると、やはり「ステマ」ということになるでしょう。
前にも書いたように、歌番組では自社系の音楽出版社に著作権や著作隣接権による収益が入るように分配契約させた楽曲を優先するということがあります。国営放送なんかもそうです。アホな曲が売れるのはそういう仕掛けがあるからですね。

同様の影響は、動物の糞を別の個体に移植して腸内細菌を移す「糞便移植」を行ったケースでも見られている。不安傾向の強いマウスに大胆な性格のマウスの糞便微生物を移植したところ、移植されたマウスはより社交的な行動をとるようになったことが確認されたそうだ。

Beloved R&B singer Ben E. King, best known for the song Stand By Me, has died. He was 76.
The Telegraph reports that the soul singer died of natural causes, according to his agent. The BBC cites King’s publicist, Phil Brown, as saying King died on Thursday.
King rose to fame in the late 1950s with The Drifters, with songs including There Goes My Baby and Save The Last Dance For Me.
He found great solo success, however, with Stand By Me, in 1961. The song was a top-five hit that year and returned to the top 10 25 years later, when it was featured prominently in a hit movie of the same name based on a Stephen King story.
King was born Benjamin Earl Nelson in Henderson, N.C., in 1938 and moved to New York’s Harlem neighborhood as a child. In high-school, he fell into the city’s burgeoning doo-wop scene, singing briefly with The Moonglows and later joining a group called The Five Crowns.
When the original version of The Drifters, which become popular recording such R&B hits as Money Honey and Fools Fall in Love, broke up following the departure of lead signer Clyde McPhatter, Atlantic Records signed the Five Crowns and recorded the group under the Drifters’ name.
At the first recording session in 1959, the new Drifters recorded There Goes My Baby, a song King co-wrote and on which sang lead. Producers Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller gave the song a Brazilian beat and strings, practically unheard of for an R&B record at the time. There Goes My Baby became the Drifters’ biggest record to date, climbing to No. 2 on the Billboard pop chart.

１９３８年、米ノースカロライナ州生まれ。５８年に黒人のＲ＆Ｂグループ「ザ・ドリフターズ」の一員として歌手デビュー。６０年にソロに転じ、６１年に発表した「スタンド・バイ・ミー」が人気を博した。
「スタンド・バイ・ミー」は故ジョン・レノン氏、レディー・ガガさんらがカバーしたほか、８６年に米小説家スティーブン・キング氏原作の同名映画の主題歌として使用され、日本など世界各国で再び大ヒットした。
これまで１０回以上来日した親日家で知られ、東日本大震災後には被災地を訪れ、復興支援にも熱心だった。
