Though Woods provided the voice for Disney’s animated “Cinderella” character in the feature film, neither this nor the also-posted “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” are the commonly-reissued movie soundtrack versions heard elsewhere on YouTube. These were commercial’pop’ recordings made by RCA Victor and released on their short-lived’Bluebird Series’ label. Most releases of this and other “Cinderella” tunes were recorded by the major labels in late 1949 and stocked in the stores around the new year to help promote and build anticipation for the upcoming early-March theatrical debut of the Disney feature.
