オレオレ詐欺などの特殊詐欺で電話帳が悪用されるのを防ぐため、大分県警別府署（河野文正署長）は２月２７日、狙われやすい女性名の掲載者宅に、電話帳（ハローページ個人名編）からの削除を求めるはがきを郵送した。
大分県警によると、名前の末尾に「子」「枝」「代」「江」の漢字やカタカナが使われている女性が狙われやすいという。昨年１年間に同県内で被害が出た特殊詐欺事件１３０件余りのうち、約４割もの被害者がその条件に該当した。
電話帳が悪用されている実態は指摘されており、全国のＮＴＴは以前からホームページ上などで注意を喚起。大分県警はさらに、同西日本大分支店と連携して積極的に、狙われやすい女性名の削除希望者を募ってきた。

かねてから改名することを予告していたアイドルグループ・スマイレージが17日、東京・TSUTAYA O-EASTで全国ツアー『スマイレージ ライブツアー2014秋～FULL CHARGE～』最終公演を開催。同日付で『アンジュルム』（ANGERME）にグループ名を変更することを発表した。応募総数10211作品のなかからメンバー・中西香菜（17）が考案したものが選ばれ、名前の由来はフランス語で「天使」を意味する「ange（アンジュ）」と「涙」を意味する「larme（ラルム）」を組み合わせた造語となっている。
