橋下知事出る・出ないのドタバタ劇、みんなの党崩壊、生活の党から民主への移籍指令、公選法違反を糾弾されながら厚顔無恥にも立候補する議員たち、世論調査で既に明らかとなっていた自民圧勝と そのとおりの結果。

日本人は民主主義を望んでないのだろうか。

可哀想に。

大掃除シーズンも近付き、見渡せば、間に合わせで購入した家具や小物で埋め尽くされている部屋。自宅で過ごす時間も増える冬場、自分で選んだ一点ものを置くことで、くつろぎ時間をランクアップさせてみてはどうだろう。そんなとき訪ねてみたいのが、骨董市。骨董店やアンティークショップに入店するのは緊張するという方でも、多くのブースが集まるイベントなら、ゆっくり品物を堪能できる。
今回は、今年で26回の開催を数える『横浜骨董ワールド』にお邪魔した。パシフィコ横浜のホールCで11月上旬に3日間行われた同イベント。ホール内に入ると、多くのお客様が自由にブースをめぐっていた。押し売りモードはまるでなく、並ぶ商品への自信がうかがえる。

This instrumental beauty, a major hit for “The Waltz King,” had been written by Heinz Provost for the 1936 Swedish film “Intermezzo,” which featured young actress Ingrid Bergman. Three years later, Bergman’s first American film turned out to be the Hollywood remake of “Intermezzo,” co-starring her with Leslie Howard and again prominently featuring this melody.

衆院選の小選挙区投票率は、各都道府県選管の発表を基にした共同通信の推計(十五日午前二時現在)で52・36%となった。戦後最低だった前回二〇一二年の確定値の59・32%よりもさらに6・96ポイント下落した。
 投票率は、小選挙区制を中心とする現行の選挙制度が導入された一九九六年以降では、民主党が、政権を獲得した前々回〇九年の69・28%が最も高かった。
 前回に続く戦後最低の更新で、〇九年に比べると二回の選挙で合わせて17ポイント近くも落ち込んだ。
 今回は、安倍政治の二年間の評価を問う重要な意味合いを持っていたが、有権者のほぼ二人に一人が棄権したことになる。
 最近は地方選などでも、過去最低の投票率を記録する選挙が相次いでおり、主権者の一票を通じて国政に参画する議会制民主主義にとって、危機的な状況といえる。
