丹沢山系、箱根山系などで遭難救助に当たる県警機動隊や秦野署などの山岳遭難救助隊は６～７日、厳冬の富士山で静岡県警と合同の冬山訓練をした。遭難者の命を守る隊員には、強靱（きょうじん）な体力と精神力が求められる。隊員らに同行し、冬山に入った。
山の天気は変わりやすい。雲の中で辺りは乳白色。景色は見えない。氷の上を雪が覆い、踏み抜くと膝まで埋まる中、若手隊員が中心になってスノーボートにザイルをつなぎ、宝永山手前の頂まで登る。氷点下一〇度以下でも皆汗まみれだ。

１７日午後６時ごろ、岐阜県と滋賀県にまたがる伊吹山（１３７７メートル）に日帰りで登山に出かけた岐阜県笠松町の男性（６９）と連絡が取れなくなった、と妻（６７）から岐阜県警に１１０番通報があった。連絡を受けた滋賀県警は１８日朝から、捜索を始める予定だ。

“Clementine” is a swing-era re-thinking of the tune often associated with the famous 1927 Jean Goldkette recording （Bix Beiderbecke on cornet）.
This was one of the numerous tracks recorded in 1939-40 by Casa Loma for World Broadcasting System and issued on their 16-inch “broadcast transcription” discs for radio-only use. See also “Sing Something Simple” and “Tumbling Tumbleweeds.”
