北海道湧別町で２日午後６時２０分ごろ、同町東の漁師岡田幹男さん（５３）と長女で小学３年生の夏音さん（９）が、軽トラックで出かけたまま連絡がとれなくなったと親戚から北海道警遠軽署に通報が入った。２人は翌日午前７時すぎ、自宅から約２キロ離れた同町東の牧場の倉庫前で、雪に埋もれて倒れた状態で見つかった。岡田さんは死亡が確認され、夏音さんは意識はあるという。
同署によると、岡田さんは夏音さんをかばうように覆いかぶさった状態で見つかった。岡田さんは２日午後４時ごろ、親戚に「雪に埋まって動けなくなった」と電話した後、連絡がとれなくなった。約５時間半後、自宅から約２キロ離れた路上で、軽トラックだけが見つかっていた。

「意識はあるという」。こういう書き方の裏には 低体温症と凍傷で重傷を負った みたいなことがあるんじゃないかと不吉な想像をしてしまう。
なんでまたわざわざ吹雪のピーク時に出かけたのか。判断ミスどころか自殺行為ではないか。
台風のさなかに岸壁へ波を見に行く人、嚥下力がないのに餅を食べる老人。みな常識や想像力が無さすぎだ。

ロックバンド・X JAPANのギタリスト、故・hideさんの墓が荒らされる事件が起こっていた。２０１３年３月１日、公式サイトが「hideお墓参りについて・皆様へのお願い」と題する文章で公表した。
発表によると最近、hideさんの墓石が鋭利なもので故意に傷つけられるという事件が起き、器物破損として調査を行うこととなった。その他、周辺を散らかす、大きな声で騒ぐ、墓石にお酒をかける、供えられたhideさんの写真を持ち去るといった、墓参のマナーが守られていない現状が報告されているという。

器物破損はともかく、一部のファンのマナーの悪さはX JAPANが復活した２００９年頃から指摘されていた。当時のファンのブログには、
「ある親子連れ（父、母、息子）が、カメラ片手に、お墓で撮影会をし、さらに息子を香炉の上に座らせて記念撮影をしたそうです。この家族は、お線香もあげず、お供え物にも手を出そうとした為、注意をしたら『何？あんた身内かよ？！偉そうに』と反論されたそうです」

墓参りの経験の有無もあるだろうが、やはり「常識に欠ける人たちがファンに多い」と云われそうだ。
墓石破壊や写真持ち去りは明らかに犯罪。物質面だけでなく、X JAPANの名誉をも深く傷つけていることに思い至らない愚かさ。hideが泣いてるぞ。

Ginny Arnell began her recording career at the age of sixteen issuing two singles on Decca as a duet with Gene Pitney credited as Jamie & Jane. She waxed three solo discs with the label as Ginny Arnell before a move to Warwick records and two single releases there in 1961 & 1962. Ginny auditioned for A&R man, Danny Davis which eventually landed her a recording contract with M~G~M records in 1963. For the next two years, Ginny Arnell enjoyed a life of performing, touring, television appearances along with releasing seven singles and an absolutely wonderful LP at M~G~M.
