２０２０年夏季五輪の招致を目指す東京都が、前回１６年五輪招致で支出した費用の経理書類をめぐり、保存期間内の８事業計約１８億円分の文書を保存していなかったことがわかった。朝日新聞の情報公開請求に、都は「紛失した」と説明している。
文書がなくなった事業では、都議会で「金額が業者の言いなりではないか」との指摘があった。だが、具体的な内訳を示す経理書類がないと事業内容の検証ができない。

西昌市郊外で果樹園を営む荘錦麗さんによると、７月に成長促進剤を与えたところ、約１週間後にザクロの実が急に黄色くなり、表面に黒いしみのようなものが発生した。最終的には次々に“爆発”して地面に落ちた。約１０トンのザクロが失われたという。

厚労省は２０日までに、生活保護を受給している在日外国人について、本人が申請すれば、国民年金保険料を自動的に全額免除とする方針を決めた。ネット上では、波紋が広がっている。
これまで、外国人が多く住む自治体と日本年金機構の出先機関では、日本人と同様に申請しなくても一律全額免除となる「法定免除」が運用されてきた。１６日までに、年金機構本部が外国人を適用外とする見解をまとめところ、人権団体から「国籍による差別だ」と批判が出ていた。
厚労省の決定に対して、今度は国民から疑問の声が出ているようだ。ツイッターでは、

李受刑者は、同市内の倉庫でドラム缶に詰められた大江和子さん＝当時（６６）＝の遺体が見つかった事件で死体遺棄罪などに問われ、今年９月、懲役２年６月の実刑判決が確定している。
関係者によると、李受刑者は尼崎市生まれ。幼いころから近隣住民に「ごんたくれ」（乱暴者）と呼ばれ、防水工や瓦職人などの職を転々としていたという。身長は１６５センチほどだが、１３０キロ近い巨漢で、入れ墨を入れており、「暴力団と関わっている」という噂もあった。

平成１５年には、後に美代子被告の義理の娘（２７）＝窃盗罪で起訴＝の高松市内の実家に美代子被告らと集団で居座り、暴力を振るったり、裸で外を歩かせるなどの虐待を繰り返した。一家の親族は「美代子被告の忠実な配下。暴れ回る姿を見ると、誰も角田に逆らえないと思った」と振り返る。
大江さんの事件で傷害致死罪などで起訴された川村被告（４２）は、李受刑者の公判で証人として法廷に立ち、「角田が怒れば、マサ（李受刑者）が怒る。角田がやめろというまで暴力をやめない」と証言した。川村被告によると、大江さんの遺体を遺棄する直前、食欲を失う川村被告らを尻目に、李受刑者だけはステーキランチの大盛りを頼み、平然と平らげていたという。

He won a Grammy for composing the song “A Taste Of Honey,” also co-wrote “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother,” and had a vocal record hit in 1956 called “Chain Gang” （not the Sam Cooke song..）
On this 1960 Atlantic LP Bobby performed on piano and conducted the orchestra. Three separate tracks feature the famous theme and are included in this post: 1）’First Act Theme’ at 0:00, 2）’Refrain’ at 2:36, 3）’Closing Theme’ at 5:33. First and third are slow string-laden versions, the middle track is a more jazzy medium-tempo treatment.
