その記事によると、ある政府関係者が、グリーの摘発に向けた検討が始まったことを明らかにした。この関係者は、「４～５月が山場だ」と話した。
当局が関心を持つ背景には、ゲームのアイテム課金でクジ引きの要素があるという。そして、アイテムがネットオークションで数十万円で取引されるケースもあるとし、ゲームの不具合を突いたアイテム複製で稼ぐケースも紹介している。全国各地の消費生活センターには、子どもが１００万円を使ったなどの相談が次々に寄せられているなどと指摘している。
ただ、摘発が何の容疑でされるのかについては触れられておらず、その根拠は定かではない。
これに対し、グリーはこの日、プレスリリースに記事への反論文を載せた。

上の録音はネットでは「1930年」とクレジットされてますが、 ジョニー・マーサー（Johnny Mercer）がバイオリン奏者のマッティ・マルネック（Matty Malneck）とともにこの曲を作ったのは1936年のことで、同年ヘレン・ウォード（Helen Ward）の歌をフィーチャーしたベニー・グッドマン楽団（Benny Goodman and his Orchestra）の録音でヒットしておりますから、「1930年」は間違いです。
ちなみに、なにが「いいぞ、いいぞ」かというと、自分を振った者が失恋したので、そう言ってる。「ざまぁみやがれ」ってかんじでしょうか。
