ここ数日、米Google関連の人がウィキリークスにまつわることで何度かこのブログにアクセスしてきてますね。
ヘンなリクエストをして404が出たりしてます。
そういやウィキリークスの日本関連の情報って、どうなったんでしょう？

２月、筆者が、郡山市役所前で測った地上１メートルの空間線量の値は毎時１・８マイクロシーベルトを超えた。一方、同じ日「民報」「民友」では、同じ地点での線量が０・６マイクロシーベルトとなっている。
　公の発表と私の測定値が、なぜこうも違うのか。ちなみに私の使っている測定器は日立アロカ製、政府や福島医大の使っているものと同種である。
　「だって、あの発表の数値は、測定前に水で地面を洗って測っているんです。違うのは当然ですよ」
　地元の放送記者が種明かしをする。もはやジョージ・オーウェルの「１９８４年」の世界だ。
　「もう、そんなことを指摘する人もいません。いくら言っても放射能がなくなるわけではないですから」

1975 – this posted Arista single, edited from the 6:50 Arista LP track which was newly recorded but with an arrangement similar to the 1973 Bell version.

Barry’s second version of “Could It Be Magic”, the first being the Tony Orlando-produced “Featherbed” version. When this LP was reissued in 1975 on Arista Records as “Barry Manilow I”, several songs had been reworked and remixed, including this one. This version has never been reissed on LP or CD.

It took several years of trying before Barry and his record company found the combination that would put him on the map in late 1974 （”Mandy”）. This early attempt was co-written and produced in bright, early-1970s’pop’ style by Tony Orlando, who was currently riding high as lead singer of the hot new group Dawn. Based on Chopin’s “Prelude in C Minor,” the song would later undergo a successful make-over as a dramatic ballad and become Manilow’s second top-10 hit

ラルゴ、4分の4拍子。コルトーに「葬送」と評されている。単純なコラールの中にショパンらしい半音階的和声の進行があって、興味を惹く作品である。後に、これに基づいて、フェルッチョ・ブゾーニが「ショパンの前奏曲第20番による変奏曲とフーガ」を、セルゲイ・ラフマニノフが「ショパンの主題による変奏曲」を作曲している。

ドリス・デイもそうだったんですけど、ローズマリー・クルーニーも今にして思えばジャズ歌手というより、ポピュラーソングの人というべきでしょうね。オリジナルやスタンダード・ナンバーを歌ったアルバムがけっこうあるんですが、モダン・ジャズには対応しきれなかった。

“This Ole House” and “Hey There” marked a rare occurrence whereby each side of a single would, on its own, achieve the #1 spot on both the U.S. sales and juke box charts. Buddy Cole is featured on this version of the tune written by singer-preacher-politician Stuart Hamblen. And like “Hey There” “Sisters” and “Mambo Italiano,” Rosie’s “This Ole House” hit was being purchased by many of the same people who were also lining up to see her perform in 1954’s big holiday movie “White Christmas.”
If the bass voice sounds familiar, it belonged to busy session vocalist Thurl Ravenscroft who performed backup on numerous popular recordings of the period, both with and without his group the Mellomen, plus years of voiceover work in movies, TV, and commercials （Frosted Flakes’ “Tony The Tiger” his best-remembered role）.

記者クラブ問題をはじめとして大手メディアの批判を続けている、自由報道協会代表の上杉隆氏と脳科学者の茂木健一郎氏の対談に、今度は大手メディア記者の側から「モノ言い」が付いた。
朝日新聞で記者によるツイッターの利用が活発化したことについて、上杉氏は「記者はツイッターをしてはいけないという言論封殺を、天下の『朝日新聞』ですらしていた」などと解説。茂木氏も、これを前提にして朝日新聞を批判した。だが、朝日新聞記者は「朝日新聞が記者にツイッターを禁じたことは一度もありません」と反論し、茂木氏は発言を訂正することを表明した。
