朝鮮中央通信によると、北朝鮮の対韓国窓口機関・祖国平和統一委員会報道官は２５日、金正日（キムジョンイル）総書記の死去で、韓国政府が弔問を制限したことについて「初歩的な礼儀と同胞愛さえも失った、人倫を外れた処置」と非難した。
報道官はまた、「今回の弔問妨害が、北南関係に想像できない破局的な結果を招くことを肝に銘じるべきだ」と警告した。
