１９７０年代にはジョニ黒やジャックダニエルが一本２～３万とかしてましたが、この十年で２０００円前後にまで下がりました。関税と円高の関係でしょうかね。
そうなってくると有難味が薄れて国産も含めウイスキー人気が急降下、代わりに高級輸入ワインと焼酎・泡盛がブームとなり、今年に入ってからはマッコリ（韓国のどぶろく）が予想以上に売れたそうです。
また、昨年あたりからは缶チューハイに飽きてきた若い層が缶入りのハイボールを買うようになったとか。
