秋雨前線の影響で、東日本から西日本の広い範囲で「秋分の日」の２３日にかけて大雨の恐れがあるとして、気象庁は２２日、土砂災害や河川の増水などに警戒するよう呼び掛けた。落雷や突風にも注意が必要。
２２日も、岡山空港で１時間に４１・０ミリ、福岡県添田町の英彦山や富山県朝日町の泊で同４０・５ミリの激しい雨を観測した。
