内藤武敏さん（ないとう・たけとし＝俳優）が２１日、悪性リンパ腫で死去、８６歳。葬儀は家族で営んだ。喪主は長男誠司さん。
北九州市小倉北区出身。劇団民芸を経て「ビルマの竪琴」「人間の条件」など多数の映画やテレビドラマに出演した。１９９２年には熊井啓監督の映画「ひかりごけ」をプロデュースした。

Bass （sometimes baritone） vocalist Wilfred Glenn’s long 1906-1938 performing career included participation in such recording groups as The Revelers, Victor Opera Company, Shannon Four, Lyric Quartet, Trinity Choir, and several others.

This 12-inch Victor “concert orchestra” version of the “Show Boat” song showcases the vocalist most closely identified with the character “Joe,” who performed “Ol’ Man River” three times during the original stage play. Due to scheduling conflicts, Robeson did not appear in the 1927 Broadway production （Jules Bledsoe premiered the part）, but he shone in the 1928 London version, the 1932 Broadway revival, and the 1936 MGM film.
Whiteman had also recorded a more lively dance rhythm arrangement of “Ol’ Man River” several weeks prior to this session, featuring a Bing Crosby vocal.

Based upon the 19th century fiddle tune “The 8th Of January,” Driftwood’s telling of the January 8, 1815, battle was first issued in his LP “Jimmie Driftwood Sings Newly Discovered Early American Folk Songs.” In 1959 he did a shorter remake for single-45 release once the Johnny Horton version had brought fame to the song.

快眠・快食・快便は健康の基本として、「早寝早起き朝ごはん」に「朝うんち」の標語を追加し、生活指導に取り組む小学校がある。自宅の洋式トイレに慣れた子供たちは小学校の和式トイレに慣れず、排便を我慢しがち。良い排便習慣の確立には家庭だけでなく学校の努力も欠かせない。

東海から九州沖を震源域とする「南海トラフ巨大地震」について、中央防災会議の作業部会と内閣府の検討会が２９日、死傷者や浸水域など被害想定を発表した。関東から九州の太平洋側が最大３４メートルの津波と震度７の激しい揺れに見舞われ、最悪のケースでは死者３２万３０００人、倒壊・焼失建物が２３８万６０００棟に上り、１０１５平方キロが浸水する。内閣府は「発生確率は極めて低く、対策を取れば被害を減らせる」と冷静に受け止めるよう強調している。
死者数最悪のケースでは、東海３県で計６万６２００人が犠牲になるとの想定だ。
三重県は４万３０００人で、７４％の３万２０００人が津波被害者とされた。愛知県は２万３０００人で、６５％の１万５０００人が建物倒壊の犠牲になる。岐阜県は約２００人で、ほとんどが建物倒壊による。負傷者数は最大で愛知１０万人▽三重６万６０００人▽岐阜５０００人。
一方で耐震化など防災対策を徹底した場合の死者数は、三重４６００人▽愛知３２００人▽岐阜１０人−−と９割前後減少する。
建物の全壊・焼失は強風が吹く冬の夕方が最悪で、愛知３８万８０００棟▽三重２３万９０００棟▽岐阜８２００棟。うち焼失は▽愛知１１万９０００棟▽三重４万５０００棟▽岐阜４００棟―だった。
最大津波高が２０メートルを超えるのは三重県鳥羽市２７メートル、同県志摩市２６メートル、同県南伊勢町と愛知県田原市が２２メートル。名古屋市港区には５メートルの津波が到達し、市南部の６区で最大計１８・９平方キロが浸水すると想定された。

そこで終わっちゃあまり意味がない。
それだけの大地震ともなると、
中国は尖閣を、韓国は対馬を我が物にする好機と判断し、軍事行動を起こすかもしれないし、
原発がどうなるか、日本経済はどうなるのか、
そこまで徹底的にシミュレーションしてもらわないと。

先月、米南部に上陸したハリケーン「アイザック」の影響で、ミシシッピ州の海岸に１万匹を超えるネズミの死骸が流され、立ち込める悪臭が問題になっている。
アイザックによる高潮の影響でルイジアナ州の湿地帯が水に浸かり、そこに住むネズミがミシシッピ州まで流されてきた可能性が高いという。
ミシシッピ州ハンコック郡では、４日現在で約１万６０００匹のネズミの死骸が回収されており、全ての作業を終えるにはあと１週間ほどかかる見通し。現場の作業員によると、このほかシカやコヨーテ、ヘビやウサギの死骸も流れ着いているという。
同州の動物保健委員会によると、海岸には悪臭が漂っているものの、人間の健康に被害を与える恐れはないという。
