Not one of Seger’s major hits upon release, this now-familiar track from his “Stranger In Town” LP grew into a pop standard, helped along greatly in 1983 by its memorable inclusion in a scene from the hit Tom Cruise film “Risky Business”. Though credited on the 45 label, The Silver Bullet Band did not perform on this original version (backing was by The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section).

A shorter version was also serviced to radio on a promo 45 and Meat Loaf would return the song to Top 40 status in early 1994
