Anytime, Any Place, Anywhere

 東日本大震災の際、フランス政府の勧告に従って東京から国外に一時避難したことを理由に解雇したのは不当だとして、NHKに委託スタッフとして勤務していたフランス国籍のエマニュエル・ボダンさん(55)が15日、解雇無効の確認と損害賠償などを求める訴えを東京地裁に起こした。
 訴状によると、ボダンさんはNHKに20年以上勤務し、海外向けラジオのアナウンスや翻訳業務に従事。毎年度、業務委託契約を交わしていた。
 2011年3月の震災直後、フランス政府の避難勧告で、東京を離れ同月30日には出社すると上司に伝えたが、22日付書面で突然、解雇を通知されたと主張している。

エネーチケーは原発事故とそれが引き起こす事態をまったく想定していなかったと思われる。その馘首が法や内規に照らして正当であったかどうか。おそらくはエネーチケーは敗けるか実質敗訴(金で解決)となるだろう。

Liz Lands – Don’t Shut Me Out(1967/04)

 政府の地震調査委員会は11日、日本周辺で起きる地震の発生確率を、ことし1月1日を基準として計算した結果を発表、東南海地震の今後30年以内の発生確率が、昨年の「70%程度」から「70~80%」に上昇するなど、一部地域でわずかに上昇した。南海地震(30年以内)は「60%程度」で変わらなかった。
 主に時間の経過による影響で上昇したという。ただ東南海・南海地震については、調査委が現在、発生可能性の評価内容自体を見直す作業を進めており、「数値は暫定的」としている。新たな評価は3月をめどにまとめる。
 関東大震災(1923年)と同タイプの地震は10年以内だと「ほぼ0~0・1%」から「ほぼ0~0・2%」とわずかに上昇した。30年以内では「ほぼ0~2%」で変わらなかった。三陸沖北部では、「0・7~10%」だった確率が「1~20%」と上昇した。

東京の都心で雪が積もったことについて、気象庁は都心の気温が予想より早く下がって、午前中から雨が雪に変わり、長い時間降り続いたためと説明しています。
気象庁は、気温の予想は誤差があり、雨か雪の判断は難しいことを理解してほしいとしています。
気象庁は14日の朝の予報で、関東地方について、「平地でも積雪となるところがありますが、東京23区では積雪になる可能性は小さいでしょう」と発表しました。

地震の場合、発生確率の算出と、予知とではかなり話が違ってくる。前者はたぶん公式みたいなものに当てはめるんだろうね。後者は競馬の予想に近い感じだろう。
要らないのは根拠のない「予言」だな。

人間の側としては「地震は時と場所を選ばない。いつだって起こりえる」、そう心得ておくのが一番いいのではないか。

 3・11直前の三陸沖地震を的中させた北陸地震雲予知研究観測所の上出孝之所長が「5日の正午から午後4時に灰色の大きな帯状の地震雲を観測しました。1月10日から7日以内(+2日)に東北(岩手、宮城、福島)でM6.5(±0.5)、震度5~6の地震が起きる可能性がある」と予告しているのだ。
 上出氏によると、地震雲は、「地震が起こる前に岩板に強い力が加わり、電磁気が発生することで、プラスイオンが電磁気とともに上昇し、水蒸気に影響を及ぼしてできる」という。30年以上の継続観測の結果、10年は35回中30回、11年は54回中46回と高い的中率を誇っているだけに気になる。
「8日の午前11時30分~午後4時に白い帯状の地震雲が発生している。このことから1月10日から11日以内(+2日)、東北から関東(福島、茨城、千葉)でM6(±0.5)、震度5~6の地震が発生する恐れがある。同日の午後3~4時にも、別の白い帯状の地震雲が出ていて、1月10日から11日以内(+2日)、関東(茨城、千葉、神奈川)でM5(±0.5)、震度4の地震が起きるかもしれない」と見通した。

 映画監督の大島渚さんが2013年1月15日15時25分、肺炎のため神奈川県藤沢市内の病院で死去した。80歳だった。大島渚プロダクションが発表した。
 大島さんは京都の生まれ。1954年に京都大学法学部卒業後、松竹大船撮影所に入社。60年に「青春残酷物語」で第1回日本映画監督協会新人賞を受賞、日本ヌーベルバーグの旗手とうたわれた。

『青春残酷物語』(1960)とか『愛のコリーダ』(1976)とか『儀式』(1971)とかは、それぞれ理由は異なれども、映画としてそれほど楽しめなかった。
