毎月歌うだけでいろんなアイテムやイベント参加などがゲットできる「お宝ランキングバトル」だが、９月のランキングバトルもこれまでにも増して熱い。
なにはともあれ注目のテーマは、桑田佳祐の課題曲「明日へのマーチ」だ。抽選でゲットできるのは「明日へのレインボー扇子」で、ジャケット写真のバックに広がる色鮮やかな虹を模した特製センス。まだまだ暑い明日への残暑を、このセンスで乗り切りたいものだ。

「ナナちゃん」が虹色ドレスに着替え－ファッションデザインを学ぶ高校生が製作
名鉄百貨店本店（名古屋市中村区名駅1）のシンボルのマネキン人形「ナナちゃん」が、虹色のドレスに着替えた。

ゲイの人達がレインボーカラーを自分たちの象徴として使うようになったので、うっかりそういうデザインを使うとゲイと間違われてしまうことがあります。
レインボーカラーそのものは非常に一般的ですから、少し加工するような工夫をしてもらえると有難いんですけどねぇ。
同性愛など性的少数者への理解を求めるイベント「レインボーマーチ札幌」が１８日、札幌市であり、全国から集まった約８００人が、仮装するなどして大通公園やススキノを行進した。

彼らがまったくストレートな一般人と区別のつかない格好でデモをすれば説得力もあるだろうが、ギョッとするような奇異な扮装で、奇声をあげるので、主張と裏腹に逆効果となっている。
そして、そんな当り前のことにさえ思い至らない様子なので、一般人としてはなおさら不審と不信感を懐くのである。
そもそも日本は 古来 “男色文化さきわう” お国柄で、明治時代には美少年をめぐって学校同士が大げんかしたなんて事件もあったくらいだ。軍隊でも上官の命令に逆らえずお付き合いさせられた兵隊がたくさんいたとか。
今じゃテレビで「おネエ」を見ない日はなく、その「おネエ」枠も拡大されつつある。
日本ではキリスト教国のように宗教的禁忌があるわけでなし。
これ以上、何を望むというのか。

東日本大震災：障害者に新しい就労の場 コープ一角に「にじいろカフェ」 ／宮城
障害者の就労・生活支援施設「虹の園」などを運営する角田市の社会福祉法人・臥牛三敬会は１５日、同市角田の「Ａコープ角田店」内にジェラートやケーキなどを販売する新店舗「にじいろカフェ」を開店した。東日本大震災の大津波で山元町と多賀城市で営業していた計３店舗を流失したため、新たな就労の場を設けた。湯村利憲理事長は「震災から立ち上がる第一歩にしたい」と意欲を示した。

虹色という言葉がありますが、そういう名の色は存在しません。
英訳の rainbow-colored からも解るように虹の七色を用いたデザインということになります。なにも弧を描いたストライプでなくとも、それらしい七色を使っていれば「虹色」と表現して間違いではないでしょう。
虹の色は眼に見える色がとりあえず揃ってることから「十全」の印象があり、そこから幸福をイメージするようになったようです。
そもそもが美しい自然現象であり、しかも儚く、また雨上がりの爽やかさが連想されるため、雨ほどではありませんが、歌の文句にけっこう出てきます。

８月２８日、脱原発を考えるイベントを山口県内各地で同時開催する「レインボー大作戦」が実施された。場所は山口市、光市、周南市など１０カ所、主催者はいずれも２０～５０歳代の女性。大がかりなイベントの動機を問うと、主催者の一人、安部みちるさんから冒頭の言葉が返ってきた。
