関西圏に根を張る広域指定暴力団幹部の証言はあまりに生々しい。
「現職の三重県知事が暴排条例で指名停止の建設業者から顧問料を月３０万円もらっていたことが報じられたでしょ。この県知事は’０９年の衆院選で落選した後に、’１１年の県知事選で返り咲いた。要は浪人の期間、暴力団系企業に面倒を見てもらっていたわけ。でも、こんなのは氷山の一角。民主党に政権を奪われていた間、ヤクザの世話になっていた自民党議員はほかにもいて、これからは“恩返し”に励まざるを得ない」

恩に着せるなど人として最低だと思う。従って「恩知らず」などと他人を詰る者には「貴様のような思い上がったヤツは死んぢまえッ！」と言いたい。
私は恩に着せるのも着られるのも嫌で、他人に何かして差し上げるのは、あくまでその人の人生の可能性を広げるのが目的であって、社会的な投資あるいは社会実験という認識だ。
対価を求めるなら明確なる商取引・公正なるビジネスであるべきでしょう。
それとは別に、感謝する気持は必要。どういう形で感謝を表すかは本人次第で、世話した相手が「無言」「音信不通」であっても私は一向気にならない。
ただ「庇を貸して母屋を取られる」「後足で砂をかけ」られる事態には、対処せねばなるまい。「恩知らず」などとほざくタイプの人間、民族にそういうのが多いんだ。
けっきょくは品格の問題だな。
昨年１１月の米大統領選で再選を果たした民主党のバラク・オバマ大統領（５１）の２期目就任式が２１日、ワシントンで開かれた。大統領は国民向けに就任宣誓した後の演説で「われわれの旅は未完だ」と表明、演説終了後、ミシェル夫人と共に声援に応えた。

国内旅行だったら一人旅のほうがいい。あたしゃ気を使うたちでね。
海外はやはり不安なので道連れがほしい。特に英語が得意な人。
睡眠中にみる夢と、人生の目標や思い描く将来像という意味の夢が似て非なるものであるように、人生を旅に喩えるにはいささか無理がある。
曰く門松は冥土の旅の一里塚、人生は終りのない旅。
もっともらしく聞こえるけれども当てはまるのは凶状持ちのやくざか指名手配犯、逃亡犯くらいだろう。
時間を空間（距離）に置き換えたり、生活上の労苦を旅の困難さと同一視できるほどのイマジネーションの柔軟性が私には不足している。
オバマ氏は二期目も一緒に旅してくれという。どこへ案内するつもりか。属国の住民としては大いに気になる。

「飛べるかどうかを疑った瞬間に永遠に飛べなくなってしまう」
昨年６月に都内で開かれた国際会議。童話ピーターパンのセリフを引用して日銀の金融政策を説いたのは黒田東彦総裁だったが、もはや「アベノミクス」で「飛べる」と信じている国民は皆無だろう。最近の経済指標を見れば一目瞭然だ。
