きのうの午後は来客の対応で仕事ができず、夜は Windows 10 の「Creators Update」で、なんだかんだ１時間以上も時間を取られた。
「Creators Update」なんて話、すっかり忘れてた。
今ごろ来るとは、拙もクリビツでげす。

きのうのお客さんから頂戴した品。
果物を自分で剥くなどというのはこの十年来無かったことで、

あの時分はリンゴを皮ごと食ってたよなぁ。今は農薬とかあるからダメか……
あぁ 思い出したわ。子供のころ母さんが、切ったリンゴに三角の切れ込みを入れてウサギの耳みたいにしてくれてたっけ。
赤くならんように塩水に通してたんで最初はリンゴってしょっぱいもんだと思ってたんだよ……
あの頃は焼いた鮭の切り身についてる皮だって普通に食ってた。今は食べない人が多いらしいけど……）

　先週発表された、国務院が開始する計画によると、中国はAIテクノロジとアプリケーションに関して、当面は先進国に後れをとらないように努め、２０２０年までに１５００億元（約２兆５０００億円）規模のＡＩ基幹産業と、１兆元（約１６兆４０００億円）規模のＡＩ関連分野の実現を目指すという。Tencentニュースが報じた。
　２０２５年までの第２段階では、業界の法的根拠を確立させる。その後、中国政府は２０３０年までに、ＡＩ理論、テクノロジ、およびアプリケーションで世界的なリーダーになり、ＡＩ技術革新の世界的な中心地になる計画だ。この計画によると、２０３０年までに、ＡＩの基幹産業は１兆元（約１６兆４０００億円）、ＡＩ関連業界は１０兆元（約１６４兆円）の規模に達する見通しだという。

そんなおぞましい未来にならぬよう、中国企業やその傘下の会社のIT関連商品は買わぬことだな。

　しかし、米国の安全保障にとって、AIにおける中国の野心は北朝鮮の核ミサイルよりも大きな長期的脅威だ。
　北朝鮮の方はおそらく、必ず全滅に追い込むという姿勢を取って封じ込めることができるだろう。一方、米国を追い抜こうとする中国を明らかに阻むものは存在しない。
　ロシアのウラジーミル・プーチン大統領は先日、「（ＡＩの）リーダーになる者が世界の支配者になるだろう」と語った。
　中国が２０２０年までに米国に追いつき、２０２５年までに追い抜き、さらにその後の５年間で世界のＡＩを支配するという意図を明らかにしたことを受けた発言である。

　１日午前８時２５分ごろ、富士市厚原の化学工場で爆発が発生した。警察や消防によると、作業員を含む１０人以上が重軽傷を負い、救急搬送された。県によると、６０代男性１人が死亡、１１人が負傷した。有害物質を含む煙が発生し、市は地元住民に避難指示を出した。
　富士署によると、爆発は同工場内のトルエンを扱っている４階建てのプラントで起き、十数人が作業中だった。爆発では高さ１００メートル、幅３０メートルほどの煙が発生。市防災危機管理課は同工場の半径１００メートルに住む住民に避難指示を出し、複数の小中学校に誘導している。爆発の影響でＪＲ身延線は午前９時半に上下線の運行を休止した。

こうした工場の爆発事故は年に何度も起きている。
それなのに原発だけは「爆発しない」と根拠もなく漠然と信じてる人たちがいる。

　京都市上京区を走行中だった市バスの車内で歩行が困難な女性乗客が２度転倒したのに男性運転手（３３）が救護しなかった問題で、市交通局は３０日、運転手を懲戒免職処分にした。
　市交通局によると、業務上の注意を怠って救護せず、また接客態度が著しく悪い際は最も重い処分として免職とするという懲戒基準に照らして判断した。
　市交通局は新たな事実として、運転手が乗客から「発車を待って」と言われたのを聞いたにもかかわらず発車し、他の乗客に「毎回そういうことをするから」と発言したことを明らかにした。乗客が降車時に抗議したが運転手は謝罪せず、前扉を開閉する操作を３回繰り返し、降車を促したという。

From the summer of 1969, big-time recording and TV star, Andy Williams hooked up with Columbia Records in-house producer, Jerry Fuller for the follow-up single to Andy’s hit,’Happy Heart’. Recorded at Western Recorders in Hollywood with an ensemble of the’Wrecking Crew’, Fuller supplied the tune,’Live And Learn’ which is somewhat the sister-in-law song to a stellar previous composition of his entitled,’Turn To Me’ which he recorded himself in 1965 as well as produced another fantastic version by the Knickerbockers which was not issued when originally recorded. Still in the hit-making mode after his then recent parting with Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, Jerry Fuller’s production with Al Capps providing the arrangement had Andy Williams delivering the musical goods effortlessly with his warm and smooth vocal.

Out of New York, between July 1964 and May 1966, this Spectorian production is the last of four singles that Miss Heatherton would issue while signed to the Decca label （the first three singles were released on the label subsidiary, Coral Records）. Recorded at Bell Sound Studios under the production team of John Madara & David White （who also co-wrote the song）, arranger, Jimmy’WIZ’ Wisner went to the Phil Spector recording manual and put together an absolute wonderful’Wall of Sound’ creation. The tune had been previously recorded by Lesley Gore and included as an LP track on her’Girl Talk’ album. Both versions are top notch girly efforts. While Joey’s disc was issued with the dance floor tune,’When You Call Me Baby’ as the plug side which included a colorful picture sleeve, her record unfortunately went nowhere. The passing of the years has been kind to this Decca single since it discovered popularity among the collectors of Northern Soul. Now original copies sell for a handsome sum when changing hands.
