学生時代に受けた奨学金の返還に行き詰まる例が相次いでいる。国内最大の奨学金貸与機関、独立行政法人・日本学生支援機構が返還を求めて全国の裁判所に起こした訴訟は、過去５年間で９倍近くに急増した。背景に、就職の失敗や就職先の倒産で生活に困窮する若年層の姿が浮かぶ。
「最初に就職した会社がつぶれなければ、こんなことにはならなかった」。昨年夏、機構から奨学金の一括返済を求める訴訟を起こされた北九州市小倉北区の男性（２８）は悔しがった。

東京のグルジア大使館によると、世界の９割の国が「ジョージア」と呼んでいるという。日本や中国は今もグルジアだが、韓国は昨年３月、要請を受けて「ジョージア」に変更した。韓国政府は日本海を「東海」に呼称変更するよう国際世論に訴えており、グルジアの国名改称に応じたのは、このための戦術の一環との観測もある。
ちなみにグルジア語の正式国名は「サカルトベロ」。グルジアもそこまでは求めていないというが、日本では国名表記の変更には法改正が必要とあって、外務省は頭を悩ませている。

The also-posted flip side is “Under Your Window Tonight” by the Russ Carlson orchestra. “High Steppers” was one of the recording pseudonyms for the Crown house band and was often associated with its pianist and sometimes leader-billed Carlson （though Adrian Schubert may have conducted the actual sessions）. In 1939 vocalist Artie Dunn would join brothers Al and Morty Nevins in the creation of The Three Suns.

多々あるキリスト教国のカーニバルの中でもブラジル・リオのは格別、いえ別格です。
日本でもサンバを取り入れたお祭りがいくつかあるようですね。
信者でもない日本人がいくらサンバを上手に踊っても、それはうわべの模倣に過ぎません。文化というのは何だってそういうもんでしょう。

これにヒップホップファンは猛反発。「ディスってんのか？」「お前は、何様のつもりなんだ！」と批判が殺到した。
為末さんはその後、「昔あるジャズシンガーが、ジャズを真似していてうまくいかなかったけれど、日本風のジャズを作ればいいんだとわかった時にとても勇気が出たと言っていた。それに感動をしたのを思い出した」と投稿。ヒップホップも日本風を目指すべきだと言いたかったのかもしれないが、真意はよく分からない。

日本政府は旧ソ連・グルジアの国名表記を「ジョージア」に変更する方針となった。同国から要請されたため。これに対し、国名はさておき、関連商品がどう呼ばれるのか心配する声がネット上であがっている。
というのも、グルジアには名産の「グルジアワイン」が存在するからだ。

「でもセイロンティーっていまだに現役だしそこはグルジアワインでいくのかな」といった形で、グルジアワインはグルジアワインのままでも良いのではとの指摘も。こうした例はほかにも「ペルシャ絨毯」や「シャムネコ」など様々ある。

旧ソ連のグルジアの国名呼称を「ジョージア」に変更する「在外公館の名称・位置ならびに在外公館勤務外務公務員給与法改正案」が１４日午後の衆院本会議で全会一致により可決、成立した。今月中に施行される見通しだ。
グルジアの呼称はロシア語に由来。同国は２００８年にロシアと領土をめぐり武力衝突し、外交関係が断絶した。英語に基づく「ジョージア」への変更を各国に働き掛けていた。
改正案は当初、施行日を４月１日と明記していたが、参院で３月末までに成立しなかったため、施行日を盛り込まない形に修正し、衆院回付となっていた。

「彼は我々のヒーローです」。国技館へ祝福にかけつけた駐日ジョージア全権特命大使、レバン・ツィンツァゼ氏の声も弾む。栃ノ心が１４勝目とダブル三賞で初優勝に花を添えた。

恒例の優勝者インタビューには「ほんとに幸せです！」と切り出した。
いろんな人への感謝を述べる中で、「私の国のみなさん」と口にした。前夜はテレビ電話でジョージアの父、母、妻と語り合った。「みんなで泣きながら話しました」と栃ノ心。昨年１１月に生まれた長女アナスタシアちゃんには、まだ会えていない。そのつらさの半面、優勝を経験した父として会えることになった。
