July was a psychedelic rock band from Ealing, London that were professionally active between 1968 and 1969. The band’s music was a blend of psychedelic rock and pop, marked by lush harmonies, acoustic guitars, keyboards, and intricate lead guitar work. Although none of the band’s records managed to chart in the UK or the U.S., July are today best remembered for their songs “My Clown”, “Dandelion Seeds”, and “The Way”, which have all been included on a number of compilation albums over the years.

This was the first band of Peter Dunton, who later played with Please, T2 and The Flies. Recorded in 1967, these previously unreleased demos were studio versions of the bands live set and display an evocative line in psychedelic rock with a slight garage psych/folk rock edge. Drifting guitar work and melodic vocal harmonies make this an interesting and unique piece of UK’60’s rock history.

This is an A-side single to “Out Of The Picture” and is written byJ. Goldstein, R. Regan, T. Hudson.
The 45 was released in 1967 by Uni Records and the catalog # is 55006.
