何度も書いたけど、夕方になると大音量で童謡を流すあの迷惑で無粋極まりない街頭スピーカー。
あれは有事には空襲警報となる。
行方不明となった徘徊老人の情報なども伝えているが、言葉は残念ながら建物に反響してまともに聞き取れない。
スマホが普及しているのだから、情報はそっちで流すほうが効果的だしスマートだ。

野田佳彦首相は１０日夜、英国のキャメロン首相と首相官邸で約３０分間会談し、共同声明を発表した。日本政府が昨年１２月に武器輸出三原則を緩和したのを踏まえ、両首脳は防衛装備品の共同開発・生産に乗り出すことで合意した。日本が米国以外の国と共同開発・生産の動きを具体化させるのは初めて。

かつては敵国同士だった日英が手を携えての二人三脚。隔世の感はこれだろう。
軍事・防衛が悪いなどとは芥子粒ほども思っちゃいない。
かつて左翼は警察を暴力装置と呼んだけれども、犯罪者や犯罪組織を取り締まるためにはこの暴力装置が不可欠で、その最前線では法的優位性の下、直接的な暴力や武器による示威が大いに力を発揮している。
あるいはまた、我々の住居においても境界線と鍵が必要であることは論を俟たない。鍵の不要な離れ小島の小集落の特異性すら、遠い昔の伝説となりつつある。
即ち、平和・非暴力への具体的努力と同じくらい戦争・武力の備えをしておかなければならないのが現実世界である という、
その惨憺たる理解をしなければ、我々の安全なる生存、生活の安寧は瞬時も成り立たない。
にも関わらず、いや、であるがゆえに、
軍事大国アメリカの、戦争経済・戦争ビジネスの手駒に甘んじ、前途有望な若者を前線で大勢死なせたり、
危機を喧伝して保身を図ったり、軍需産業へ利益誘導しキックバックを得ようとしたり、
将軍気取りで軍事作戦を命じること自体に憧れを懐いたり、
そういう害悪しか為さない連中には、任せられんのだよ。
人間などというのはそんな立派なもんぢゃない。
人間は人間以上には絶対なれないし、欲望をコントロールすることはできない。
人間存在は善でもあり、同時に悪でもあるということ。
それが分からない人は自己欺瞞、心得違いと言っていい。
人間なんざ じつにツマラン。
玉に瑕（きず）の瑕にあたるのが我々人間だ。
もしヒトが消えたなら、この惑星の美しさは完璧なモンなるよ、いやホント。

No, not the Louis Armstrong song. “At Home Abroad,” which featured this and several other Howard Dietz-Arthur Schwartz songs, starred Bea Lillie, ran for 198 performances, and was the first Broadway musical to be directed by Vincente Minnelli. Himber also made a Victor recording of “What A Wonderful World” for commercial release.
This is one of eight posted tracks recorded In 1935 by the Richard Himber orchestra that were never issued for consumer purchase but were distributed to radio stations on 33 1/3 Western Electric transcription discs for broadcast use.
As pseudonyms were commonly used on such media by artists who were currently under contract to a commercial record label, Richard Himber and vocalist Stuart Allen were identified on the disc label as “Larry Bradford” and “Stan Abbott.”
