１１月５日からスーパー「ライフ」のポイント制度が変わるそうだ。
これまでは客が自分のポイントカードを使い店内の発券機で５００ポイント単位の金券を発券しレジで出す必要があった。
発券機といっても実体はバーコードリーダーなので、カード裏のバーコードをかざすとき、ちょっとコツが要った。
この発券機が今回 廃止となり、利用可能ポイントがレシートに記されることになった。
客は次回の買い物でそのポイントから支払うことが可能となる。
これはビックカメラがやってるパターンとほとんど同じであるようだ。
ただし使えるのは５００ポイント単位で、５００、１０００、１５００……のようにしか使えない。これは客からすると不便。
しかも毎月失効するポイントがあるらしい。これもセコい話。まぁわずかな額を積み上げて利潤をひねり出すスーパーならではの発想とはいえる。

１１月３日（土）、中国河北省張家口市の万里の長城で、５２年ぶりの記録的な大雪の中、日本人観光客がツアーを強行し遭難。
企画したツアー会社は前回の死亡事故の反省を忘れてしまったのだろうか。
大雪ということを除いても今回のツアー内容は一般人には無理があるという気がする。
格安料金にするため、必要経費を削り、担当者に無理をさせる。深夜バスの事故もそうだったが、旅行となると命がけだ。
反日機運が高まってるこの時期にわざわざ中国ツアーに行くなんて客の方も平和ボケしてるとしか思えない。
国が違うということは違う惑星に行くようなもので、日本の法律は通用されないし、（マンツーマンでガードマンが付くわけではないので当然）身の安全も保障されない。パスポートに記されていることは一種の信義則、国家間の建て前である。そして現在の中国に信義や常識が通じないことは明々白々ではないか。

日本にいる中国人や中国籍の残留孤児二世三世にも真面目に働いている人、前向きに努力を積み重ね成功を勝ち取ってる人、高い技能を有してる人、高徳の人、尊敬に値する人は多い。
一方で犯罪に手を染める者も些（いささか）かならずというのが現状。
政府は中国人にかぎらず外国籍の長期日本滞在者について、生活状況などを 人権に配慮しつつも ある程度 把握するような制度を考えるべきだと思うが、少なくとも民主党政権下では可能性ゼロ。
なにしろ国家の三権のほかに、第四の権力を作って在日外国人やカルト教団の手に委ねようとしているくらいだもの。

手で引っ張って包装フィルムを二つに分ける、おなじみのコンビニおにぎり。
あれで海苔の端っこがどうしてもフィルムに残ってしまう人がいる。
もとから海苔が切れてしまっている場合を除き、そうなる人は典型的なマニュアル人間（大多数の人が該当する？）、つまり対象を仔細に観察したり対策を検討することなく、指示どおり動くだけの人、といえそうだ。
包装フィルムの構造、おにぎり本体を手前と奥から抱えるように包み込んでいる状態を観て取れば、自ずと対処法は浮かんでくる。すなわち二つに分けきる直前、フィルムを手前と奥に静かに揺らして海苔と間隙を作れば、左右に分けたとき海苔が切れずにおにぎり本体を包めるのだ。
そういう、対象の特徴に即したデリケートな対応を事前に またはその途中で臨機応変に行える人を「デリカシーがある」と称するのだが、これは初体験時にはなかなかそこまでは思い至らないものだし、第一 腹がへってるのだから「どうでもいいや」というのが普通だろう。
しかし切れ端の僅かな海苔の分量でさえ拵えるには大変な工程を経ているのも事実であって、あれをゴミ箱へ捨てるには些か忍びないのだ。

「死」にまつわる夢を続けざまに二つ見た。
ごく普通の作業所のような建物。出来たばかりらしく清潔で見た目もいかにも新しい。グレーの作業服を着た男たちがいるが、どこかのんびりした風情。建物正面入口の上の壁面に事業所名が黒い文字で掲げられている。私は目を疑った。そして冷水を浴びたようにゾッとした。『自殺者遺体処理場』と書かれている。引き取り手のない自殺者を解体し、使える臓器を分別するのだ。いつの間にやらこんなことが行われるようになっていたのか。なんという世の中だ。心のなかに冷たい風が吹き込んだ気がした。
この夢はおそらく昨夜 終電車で帰宅する際、駅のアナウンスで人身事故の報せを聞いたことが元になってるんじゃないかと思う。
もう一つの夢は葬式。巨大な斎場で行われている葬儀に中学くらいの歳の自分が大勢の同級生らと参列しているのだが、誰の葬儀かは全く知らない。というより私はまったく参加する気も興味もなく、かといって抜け出すわけにもいかず、要するに「ヤル気のない生徒」の状態。
誰かの弔辞が聞こえてきた。「あなたは翌朝目を覚まさなかった。なんとなればあなたの心臓はあなたの気づかぬうちに止まっていたのだから……」
斎場の門前はなぜか雑多な道具・工具・部品を売っている商店街になっていて、よく見るとそれなりに面白そうなものが売っている。やけに軽い巨大なゼンマイ、繋がって帯のようになっている凸レンズ、地球の反対側の様子が見える覗機関みたいな顕微鏡……等々。私の興味はすっかりそれらに移っていた。気がつけば仲間ともはぐれ自分ひとり。
こういうドロップアウト感覚は私の人生ではそう珍しいことではない。私は集団の動き・集団の秩序・集団が要求するスピードにそこはかとない違和感を覚え、自己疎外する性格なのだ。興味のないことはどうしてもモチベーションが湧かない、社会性の低い「半社会人」。それでいて集団から忘れられることに寂しさを感じる矛盾した気持もある。
こんな夢を見たのは、このところ肉体・精神ともに、ひどく疲れていたからだろう。睡眠不足も続いていた。

下の写真は駅から北東方面を望んだ風景。生い茂った薄と雑草が風にそよいでいる。遥か彼方、ビルの間にスカイツリーが見えた。
反対側も薄ヶ原だ。
ポツリポツリと巨大な建物があるにはあるが人の姿はほとんと見ない。それ以外は広大な区画の更地・原っぱ・工事の現場が占めている。
閑散とした実につまらぬ場所だなぁと思う。
銀座もそうだが、ちょっと掘れば大量の水が上がってくる。沿岸の埋め立て地というのはそもそもそうしたもので、そこに巨大な建築物を造るなど烏滸の沙汰である。しかも埋め立てで使った土に有害物質が含まれているとなれば尚更だ。
もちろん工法・構造や資材・建材で対策はしてるだろうが、所詮は小手先の工夫であって強大な自然の破壊力の敵ではない。そうした思い上がりのしっぺ返しが３・１１の被害でありフクイチの惨状であったと知るべきであろう。
企業を誘致し、人を集め、雇用を創出し、税収を上げようとの目論見であるが、現実を観ない机上の空論でいかにも官僚の発想である。元は税金であるところの 天文学的予算を投じてこの体たらく。これは失敗事業と断ずるしかない。
だが官僚は絶対に失敗を認めないし、失敗したところで国民・都民を締めあげてまた稼げばいいくら位にしか考えていないのだ。承認した議員らも同じ。
日本の根源的な不幸がここにある。
