Upon Clairette’s move to Capitol Records, her records were produced by Jim Economides and Stu Phillips with Jimmie Haskel and Stu Phillips providing the arrangements. It was there where she would record some wonderful tracks most notably,’Ev’rywhere’ and’It’s Happening To Me’ on which Clairette’s maturing voice was surrounded by a studio full of musicians and background singers. There was nearly a year gap between her final Capitol single issued in October 1964 and her last known single release on Colpix Records issued in January 1966.
In 2013, when looking at the black & white photo of herself taken in 1963, Clairette Clementino stated, “…..I remember clearly that photo shoot in an office in the round Capitol Records building. JUST A BABY!!! lol!!”
Today Clairette is an energetic, happily married mother of five grown children living the good life in Northern California.
