福島県内に住む０～７歳の乳幼児約２千人の尿を民間の分析機関「同位体研究所」（横浜市）が測定した結果、１４１人から放射性セシウムが検出されたことが３０日、分かった。うち３人が尿１キログラム当たり１０ベクレルを超え、最高は４歳男児の１７・５ベクレル。残る１３８人は１０ベクレル以下で最低は０・１ベクレルだった。
測定した尿からは、自然界にもともと存在する放射性カリウムも平均で約６４ベクレル検出された。唐木英明・東大名誉教授（食品安全）は「カリウムと比べてもセシウムの数値は低く、人体に影響があるレベルではない」とした上で「ただ、どのような経路で取り込まれたのか調べる必要がある」と話している。

アフリカ西部マリ北部を占領しているイスラム過激組織「アンサール・ディーン」が３０日、世界遺産都市トンブクトゥにあるイスラム教指導者の墓を破壊した。トンブクトゥは２８日、国連教育科学文化機関（ユネスコ）が「危機遺産リスト」に登録したばかり。
目撃者がＡＦＰ通信に語ったところによると、同組織はこれまでに三つの墓を破壊。トンブクトゥには１６の墓地や霊廟（れいびょう）があるが、同組織スポークスマンは「全ての墓を破壊し尽くす」と予告している。

使い方は簡単で、ローカルの画像を選択してアップロードするだけ。アップロードするとすぐさま解析が実行され、オンラインに存在する画像からよく似た画像をリストで表示してくれる。リストにはファイル名やサイズ、掲載先のURLなどの情報が表示されるので、掲載元のURLにジャンプして画像の素性を特定するのも容易だ。うっかりオンラインで公開してしまった写真がどこかに無断転載されていないか探す用途にも役立つだろう。
実際に試した限りでは、手元にある写真のオリジナルを探す用途にはかなり重宝する。

いや、画像の話じゃなくて、人探しのことなんですがね。
戦後の十数年はまさにそうした時代でして、利用可能なメディアは新聞の三行広告・雑誌の投稿欄・ラジオの『尋ね人の時間』くらいしかなく、人探しで一番有効な写真がそもそも使えなかったんです。
指名手配犯のそれすらなかなか人の目に触れることがなかったですから。もうこれは大変な時代です。
もちろんそれより前は「生き別れ」が普通でして、『山椒大夫』から『君の名は』まで、ほとんど違いはなかったんですね。

民主党の小沢一郎元代表は、離党問題の結論を週明けの来月２日に出すと表明した。「小沢新党」には衆院議員約４０人、参院議員１０数人が参加するとの見立てがあるが、ここにきて野田佳彦首相の官邸サイドから「衆院の新党参加者は２０数人に半減した」という衝撃情報が伝わってきた。離党予備軍を引き留めるための“情報戦”の側面もありそうだが、小沢氏の決断が長引くなか、迷う議員が増えているは確かなようだ。
