「魅惑のワルツ（Fascination）」で知られる映画『昼下りの情事（Love in the Afternoon）』（1957）のテーマ曲。
きょう５月４日はオードリー・ヘップバーンの誕生日（１９２９年）だそうですよ。
さっきテレビで言ってました。
作品としては『ローマの休日』が一番好きです。特にラストシーン。役者の格ではグレゴリー・ペックがずっと上なのに、結果としてヘップバーンの引き立て役となっている。スター誕生の瞬間ですね、まさに。
もしもヘップバーンがこの映画に出てなかったら、そのキャリアはそこそこのものだったかもしれません。

２日、都内で行われた映画『くろねこルーシー』先行プレミア上映 舞台あいさつで、７月の新婚旅行後初めて囲み取材に応じた安めぐみが、さながら『ローマの休日』体験をしてきたことを明かした。
この日、ハネムーンの様子を聞かれた安は、東貴博と９日間、イタリアの主要都市を4か所回ったことを告白。さらに、映画『ローマの休日』ファンの安のため、映画に登場するスクーター「ベスパ」まで調達し、さながらオードリー・ヘプバーン演じたアン王女の体験をしてきたことを語った。
