Little Richard – Keep A Knockin’（1957/09 his original hit version）

Though the label composer credit is claimed by Little Richard, this top-10 rocker was an update of a much older song, originally recorded in 1928 as “Keep A Knockin’ An You Can’t Get In” by James “Boodle It” Wiggins and then by others, including Louis Jordan in 1939. Like Richard’s other hits, “Keep A Knockin'” is sometimes heard in a different re-recorded stereo version.
Note that the original master for this particular take, aside from running slightly slower, timed out at well under two minutes. So in order to bring the track up to an acceptable length for single release, the audio editor simply copied the 45-second portion between :06 and :51 and ran it all over again between :51 and 1:36 （though the well-known tape wow at :30 is not present in the repeat）.

　先週１２日（２０１４年１２月）早朝、東京・新宿区の歌舞伎町の９階建て雑居ビルから女性が転落して死亡した。亡くなったのはアルバイト●●●●さん（２２）で、転落直前まで９階の飲食店にいたが、午前４時半ごろにトイレに行ってから戻らず、店員らが探していた。●●さんは９階トイレの個室から転落したと見られている。

　９階のトイレの個室内には外に通じる扉があったが、開けて外に出たら「床がない」という危険な扉だった。扉のカギは内側から開けられるものだった。扉の手前には約１メートルの高さに転落防止用と思われる鉄製のバーが渡してあったものの、カギを開けバーを越えて外に出ると、そのまま地面まで転落してしまうことになる。
思わず開ける
　ほかのテナントの話によると、このような扉は各階にあり、かつては非常階段に通じていたらしいが、現在は階段はないという。９階以外の扉は開かないように工事されていた。

となると、女性はかなり酔っていたのかもしれないね。

　鹿児島市のＪＲ鹿児島中央駅に隣接するビルの屋上にある観覧車で２１日、乗客を乗せたゴンドラのドアを開けたまま動かしたと、施設を運営する鹿児島ターミナルビルが同日夜、発表した。乗り場の係員がゴンドラのドアを閉めず、外から鍵をかけるのも忘れたという。大阪府の中学生ら３人が乗っており、観覧車が１周する約１５分間、内側からドアを引っ張り続けたという。けが人はなかった。
