ＴＢＳ系時代劇「水戸黄門」が現在放送中のシリーズで制作を終了することが、１５日分かった。１９７９年２月には平均視聴率４３．７％（ビデオリサーチ調べ、関東地区）を記録したが、今月４日にスタートした第４３部の初回は１０．０％、１１日の第２回も９．６％と低迷。計２２回予定の今期で４２年の歴史に幕を下ろすことになった。
同番組は６９年８月に開始。初代を故東野英治郎さんが演じた水戸光圀役は、８３～８４年の第１４部で故西村晃さんに交代。その後、佐野浅夫さん（８５）、石坂浩二さん（７０）へと引き継がれ、第３１部から５代目の里見浩太朗さん（７４）が務めている。

予定調和、封建制度への無批判、権威主義、事大主義、、、自民党とともにバブル崩壊時に消えるべきだった番組です。自民が信濃町票でゾンビ化し露命をつないだように、この番組も若手を起用するなどテコ入れしてつないできましたが、それもいよいよ終わりということですね。
あと、紅白がなくなれば日本人の意識も、だいぶ変るんじゃないかな。
部族社会・村社会から、自立した個人の集団へ、これから徐々に変っていければいいんじゃないかと思いますが。

今夏は海水浴客が激減しているそうですね。
それというのも海に流れ出た汚染水の影響ですが、それだけでなく大気中の放射性物質や強烈な紫外線、はたまた熱射病の危険性を考えれば、客足は減って当然。
水温の上昇で危険な生物も多くなってますし、もう海水浴の時代じゃなくなったと考えるべきです。

British Movietone
I am not sure if I will get to see the sea during this summer of Covid-19. It’s lovely to look back on this British Movietone film of seaside antics during the early 1930s. This was the early days of sound newsreel and there is no commentary. I find it very relaxing to watch and listen to these revellers having fun. Our records don’t show where this lovely film was shot – perhaps you know?
