「部長刑事」「銭形平次」「水戸黄門」などのドラマや舞台出演で名脇役として知られる俳優・入川保則（７１）が、がんを患い、余命半年を宣告されていることが２日、明らかになった。入川がデイリースポーツの取材に応えたもの。現在、がんは全身に転移しているが、抗がん剤などの延命治療は拒否。すでに葬儀の手配も自身で済ませており、「理想通り（の死）」と覚悟を決めている。また、妻で元女優のホーン・ユキ（６０）と２００４年に離婚していたことも明かした。

「朝、３時間かからないと体が動かない。血流が悪いので。舌がもつれるのも血流が悪いから」と病状を報告。３月の会見では「もう１回結婚したかった」と話していたが、この日も「結婚？それはしたいですよ。あと３カ月でもあなたといたいわ、という方が現れたら、死んでもいい。なくても死ぬんですけどね」とひょうひょうと語った。
仕事に向かう気力は、まったく衰えない。

ザ・シュークリームのホーン・ユキさんとの結婚は印象深かった。風貌さながら悪役に見えた（笑）
ザ・シュークリームといえば亡くなった清水クーコさん（享年３８）。いちおうリーダー格でした。あの方などはお亡くなりになってからもう２０年ですよ。
行雲流水、行く人来る人。人生の廻り舞台でそれぞれに花を咲かせて、あるときスッといなくなる。
美学ですね。私も斯くありたいものです。

スポーツ用品メーカー「ナイキジャパン」の命名権問題をめぐり、反対派が一時占拠するなどした東京都渋谷区立宮下公園が、２０１１年４月３０日、「みやした こうえん（miyashita park）」としてリニューアルオープンした。反対派の抗議活動が行われ一時騒然となる場面もあったが、新しくなった公園を楽しむ人々でにぎわった。
園内にはいずれも有料のスケート場、クライミングウオールが新設された。開園時間は８時３０分から２２時３０分までだが、節電のため当面は１８時３０分で閉園する。

俳優・入川保則さんが２４日午後３時２０分、直腸がんのため、神奈川県内の病院で死去した。７２歳だった。
２３日に容体が急変し、最期は長男・正則さんが見取った。２２日に正則さんが「帰るよ」と声をかけ、「ありがとう」と応じたのが最後の言葉だったという。
通夜と告別式は自主葬で、家族と事務所関係者のみで執り行われる。
入川さんは３月、末期がんであることを公表。医師に余命は半年と告げられていた。その後、精力的に映画出演などをこなし、遺作として映画「ビターコーヒーライフ」が来年５月１２日に公開される予定になっている。
３９年、神戸市生まれ。現代劇や時代劇のバイプレーヤーとして存在感を示し、「必殺」シリーズや「桃太郎侍」「水戸黄門」など数多くのドラマや映画に出演した。
私生活では３度の離婚歴があり、５人の子供がいる。最後は神奈川県のアパートを引き払い、病院で最後の年末を送る腹積もりでいた。６月には、遺言をまとめた「その時は、笑ってさよなら 俳優・入川保則 余命半年の生き方」（ワニブックス）を出版した。
来年公開の映画について「（来年）５月の封切りまで何とか頑張りたいけど」と語っていたがかなわず、クリスマスイブに静かに息を引き取った。
