「金持ち父さん 貧乏父さん」の著書で知られるベストセラー作家で、投資・実業家のロバート・キヨサキ氏の経営する会社が破産申請していたことが判明した。
ＮＹポストによると、今年４月、書籍販売などのプロモーションに携わり、キヨサキ氏を世界的な有名人にしたプロモーターのビル・ザンカー氏から、これまでの報酬２４００万ドル（１８億７２００万円）を求め訴訟されていた。
米連邦地裁はザンカー氏の主張を認め、キヨサキ氏に報酬の支払いを命じていたという。

どうやら、ザンカー氏との契約上のトラブルのようだ。
だが、キヨサキ氏の会社「リッチ・グローバルLLC」にはお金がなく、キヨサキ氏の個人資産も会社にない。グループ会社はあるが金は引っぱってこれない、だからそんな大金払えない。ということで破産を申請したようだ。
倒産したのは、あくまでキヨサキ氏の経営する会社の１つ。
この倒産でキヨサキ氏が「貧乏父さん」になってしまったのかというと、どうもそうではないらしい。
「金持ち父さん」の「計画倒産」って感じがしなくもないが、アメリカでよくありそうなお金のモメゴトのようだぞ。
