Composer/conductor/playwright/radio performer/TV producer Meredith Willson [sic] is today best-remembered by many for having written “The Music Man,” though he also penned a handful of stand-alone pop songs over the years. They included “You And I” “May The Good Lord Bless And Keep You” “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas” and this good-time sing-along tune by the Godfrey Show quartet that reached #12 on Cash Box and #14 on Billboard during the autumn months.

　ＮＡＳＡ（＝アメリカ航空宇宙局）は去年１０月、月のクレーターに無人探査機を衝突させる実験を行った。この結果、月の一部にはサハラ砂漠より多い５．６～８．５％の水分が氷の形で存在することがわかった。アメリカの新聞「ニューヨーク・タイムズ」などが報じた。
　これは、科学者らが予想していた量よりはるかに多いという。月には太陽の光がほとんど当たらない場所があり、そこにまとまった量の氷が存在する可能性が以前から指摘されていた。

「月には太陽の光がほとんど当たらない場所があり」
１９６６年に打ち上げられた無人月面探査機サーベイヤー１号の調査結果によると、おそらくその場所は摂氏マイナス２５０度くらいなんでしょう。
光が当たっている時間とそうでない時間の温度差が最高でも３６８度あるそうですから、月はどのみち人間がいける世界じゃありません。

見事にまんまるのかたちをした、『ICE MOON』。月を模しているというだけに、表面に施されたでこぼこのクレーターなど、芸術的でありながらも実にリアルなビジュアルをしていますよね。
デザイナーのDoshi Levien曰く、『ICE MOON』は、1902年に公開されたGeorges Mélièsのサイレント映画『Le Voyage dans la Lune』や、アルメニア人のシュールレアリスト Léon Tutundjianの1929年の作品などからインスピレーションを得て作ったものなのだとか。
食べるのがもったいないほど、美しいお月さま。しかしお月さまを半分に割って中身を覗いてみると、そこにはとろりとしたクリームやナッツがぎっしり詰まった、極上アイスクリームが！
