同名グループが同時代のメキシコ、アルゼンチンにおりましたし、日本では１９８１年以降 高橋幸宏と鈴木慶一のユニット「ザ・ビートニクス」が断続的に活動しています。
ノルウェーの The Beatniks は６０年代半ばに演奏スタイルをラウタランカらビートグループに一回変えてるようですね。てっきり別かと思ったら同じグループでした。
