中東イランでは今週、広い範囲で雨が降り続き、各地で洪水が相次ぎました。
被災地で支援にあたっている赤新月社は３０日、イラン国内でこれまでに５３人が死亡し、少なくとも１６人の行方が分からなくなっていることを明らかにしました。
赤新月社ではスタッフを派遣して、重機で土砂を取り除くなど不明者の捜索にあたっています。
大雨は今週、ペルシャ湾に面する周辺の国でも広く観測されていてこのうち、ＵＡＥ＝アラブ首長国連邦の北部では広い範囲で建物や道路が水につかるなどの被害が出て政府によりますと、これまでに７人の死亡が確認されています。＜イラン 大雨で洪水相次ぐ ５３人死亡 １６人行方不明 | NHKニュース より一部引用＞
