８月の中国新聞各紙の社会面を眺めていると、奇々怪々な「賠償請求訴訟事件」のニュースが目立つ。

それらの珍事件の数々を見ていると、今の中国人たちが、賠償請求訴訟を起こすのに、いかに「熱心」であるかがよく分かる。何かある度に、正当な理由があってもなくても、とにかく誰かをつかまえて「賠償をよこせ」と迫るのが一種の流行とさえなっている。

こうした現象はある意味では、中国における社会的進歩の一つである。かつて毛沢東時代には、国民が生命や権利のすべてを奪われても文句の一つも言えなかったのだが、今、国民の一人一人が個人的権利を強く主張してそれを守り通そうとしている。この風潮がいずれ、国民一般の普遍的権利を求める社会運動に発展すれば、民主化への道が開かれる可能性もある。
しかしその半面、自己権利意識の肥大化が現代中国人特有の強欲さと相まって、理不尽な「賠償請求訴訟」の氾濫（はんらん）を招き、徹底的な人間不信の社会を作り上げている。

カネ目当ての独善的理不尽訴訟の傾向はアメリカ以上のようです。
そのような訴訟が増えれば、本当に必要な裁判がスケジュール的に圧迫され、社会に弊害をもたらさずにはおかないでしょう。
儲かるのは弁護士センセーだ。
日本の場合さすがにこうした浅ましい、物ほしげな訴訟はまだ少ないですが、金満会社・組織による告発者・批判者の口封じのための訴訟、高額賠償金請求訴訟は夥しい。これもまた大きな問題です。

都合の悪い意見や批判を封じるための嫌がらせ訴訟。
ちなみにslap（スラップ）には平手打ち（頬をぱちんと叩くこと）、その音、痛烈な非難に対する拒絶等の意味があり、SLAPPのイメージとダブっている。
スラップという言葉は最近ちょっとしたヴォーグにさえなっております。
日清食品は８日、「弊社商品のＣＭ撮影に関するお詫び」をホームページ上に掲載した。槍ヶ岳で行った「日清ラ王」の新ＣＭ撮影の際、一部の登山者に登頂を待ってもらうことを依頼し、「多くの皆様に多大なご迷惑をお掛けいたしました」と謝罪している。日清では９日から新ＣＭの放映を予定していたが、「ＣＭを見ると、不快に思う人もいる」（広報部）と判断、“お蔵入り”にすることを決めた。

映画の仕事をしていたときに、ロケ現場でよく人や車を止めておりました。公共の仕事でないのにそういうことをするのは、今から考えればずいぶんと傲慢な仕儀であったと反省する次第。
ここはやはり金品で解決するのが一番でしょう。登山者にジュースを配るとか協力費を払うとかすれば、批判も少なかったんじゃないかな。

実はこの曲、感謝の気持ちを歌っていると思いきやそうではなかった。真実は日本のラップは感謝してばかりだという皮肉を込めた歌。まさにその通りと言うべきか反論のしようがない。

たしかに日本でヒットするラップ曲には、ストレートな愛情表現や、親や恋人に感謝の気持ちを伝えるたぐいのものが多々見受けられます。
他者に対する辛辣な批判や不平・不満はどちらかというと好まれてはいないようですね。
これは民族性ということもあるでしょう。
うまくいかない原因をよそに求めるというのは、矜持（きょうじ）ある人間として我慢がならないものです。日本が高度成長を遂げることができた要因の一つには、そうした心理があったからだと私は思ってます。
しかし外国人の目からするとそうした姿はバカ正直に見えるかもしれません。
