行政安全省傘下の情報化振興院によれば、同国青少年（9～19歳）の12．8％に当たる93万8000人が「ネット中毒」で、このうちの大部分が「オンラインゲーム中毒」とされる。ゲームをしないと禁断症状が現れ、日常生活への支障がある状態で、アルコールや幻覚剤の中毒と症状が近いという。
学力が低下し、社会に適応できなくなるほか、釜山の事件のように暴力性の高いゲームをやり過ぎ、実際の暴力に及ぶ例もある。背景には激烈な受験戦争のストレスもあるといわれる。

あと韓国の人が激昂しやすいのは、幾世代にもわたって幼少時よりカプサイシンを多量摂取してきたこと、肉を常食していることも原因の一つじゃないかと思いますが、どうでしょ。
